The Concert Hall at Drew University — Attraction in Madison

A very nice, cozy concert hall. The acoustics are excellent as advertised...It could use a bit of improved decore though. It is a bit bland.

The Handel's Messiah show on December 6th was solid. For beginner and amateur orchestra musicians, solid. The choir was aces. A few off key notes and male vocals were not enough to sour the performance.

The ambience was a bit disappointing. There was no holiday decore whatsoever. Nothing. I did expect some greenery and soft background lights. Which brings me to the stage lighting- harsh. Overall though, a good show...

Nice small venue. Sound system was just OK a few mic issues during concert. However, overall, a nice location and parking is only a short walk. All seats would provide a nice view...
