An business owner without humility speaking on character and ignorance....I bet your response lost you more customers than my review. I’d go on as well but you seemed to do enough of the work for me. Looking to support local business? Thinking about Tito’s? Read below:
Not a pizzeria, just one of the problems we face as consumers throughout life. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews. Sadly there are times I feel I must so that others can avoid feeling not just mislead, but in this case, hungry. Their "artisan" pizza is devoid of any value as the fresh mozzarella is the only difference ingredient-wise. Sauce and bread were no different than the better half of virtually all pizzerias in existence. There are no secrets here, Tino's re-invents nothing except how sell you a pizza that costs 30% more and delivers half the food. I don't like paying for marketing nonsense, so if you want pizza in Madison try Italian Village, Nonna's in Florham Park is great, and Palermo's in Parsippany is one of the best. I learned a lot about pizza from the brothers who own Palermo's. Really smart, great, passionate guys...and they make REAL pizza...that actually tastes ARTISINAL, and they don't brag about it or charge you extra to cover their marketing budget. I just don't feel it's fair to use the world "artisanal" to justify what I received from Tino's. Not a way of doing business that I'll ever support so Tino or whoever can make a living. Not...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I visited the Tino’s Artisan Pizza, Co. in Madison last week and were so impressed with the quality of food, beautiful space and excellent service! We ordered the chicken bites as an appetizer which were so delicious, especially when complimented with the amazing honey mustard sauce. For our meal, we ordered a parm pie (my personal favorite) and a special pie that had prosciutto, arugula, parmesan, mushrooms and a truffle butter sauce — DELICIOUS! Definitely a fulfilling meal with plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. We splurged for dessert and ordered the cannolo rollatini, which definitely can be shared amongst friends and family. The flavors worked so well together and we thought it was so creative to incorporate their homemade pizza crust into a dessert. The restaurant is much bigger than their historic Kingston location, and beautifully decorated with touches of Tino’s family throughout. Our server was extremely friendly and able to recommend his favorite menu items, which ended up being a hit! Will...
Read moreFood was very good. Ceasar salad was a little light on dressing but was very good. Croutons taste homemade, it was very fresh and crispy and the cheese was very good quality and super tasty. The pizza was excellent but I thought a bit pricey for the size. We did split both the salad and the pizza for our lunch and I did bring home 2 slices of pizza but it is a bit of an odd size. Too much for one and a bit small to share. Not sure what you would do if you were dining alone. And at $17 it's not a personal pie price especially for a lunch. I would definitely go back as the food was good. Table next to us got chicken parm and that looked good also. Not sure if they requested it that way but there was not any pasta...
