The reason why I give Aggieville 5 stars is simple. There is no competition to Aggieville within a 100 mile radius! You’ll read some negative reviews that say that Aggieville is nothing but college kids causing trouble and the scene there is like walking thru a frat house. See the thing is, depending on what you’re in to, depends on what days and what hours you attend. Aggieville has a scene for everyone. If you go on a Friday or Saturday night during the school year, everyone there will be a bunch of college aged kids, drunk and maybe sometimes belligerent. What else would you expect tho? However, if you chose to go for a stroll on a nice summer day to enjoy some foreign cuisine and not your typical mid-west country food (which I thoroughly enjoy as well by the way), then Aggieville caters to the more “adult mindset” types of individuals. Sunday brunch? No other place like Aggieville, I guarantee it. Pick your days, your hours and your seasons. I guarantee you’ll find something out there to enjoy that you will not find within a 100 mile...
Read moreBeing a life time resident of Manhattan I've always enjoyed Aggieville, that is to say what's left of it. I feel empathy for the small business owners who continue to hang in there. It's upsetting for me to watch the city of Manhattan systematically dismantle the things that made Aggieville such a great place for most of my life. I'm not a fan of most of what has been done to Aggieville over the last 20 years and I'm not a fan of what the city continues to do. I think the city of Manhattan has lost sight of what Aggieville was originally all about. That being said, time will tell. Sometimes the city gets it right and sometimes not so much. As for my 5 star rating that is a shout out to all of the small businesses that continue to fight the good fight to retain some semblance of what Aggieville is...
Read moreAwesome way all the business get together for Trick or Treat the Ville. My kids had an awesome time. It was nice seeing the community get together for the children. Otherwise I wouldn’t go past 5pm with all the debauchery that happens from the K State kids. It would be nice to enjoy a dinner down there on a weekend but it’s so hard to enjoy yourself when you have a college kid blacked out making a fool of himself but otherwise a nice place to visit during...
