Marshalls — Attraction in Manhattan

They always have the best selection of home goods and women's clothes! My favorite store in the area 🩷

Edit: The casher I had today was extremely rude and dismissive when I did a return with a receipt, and they did not go back to the card I paid for most of it with. I told her to begin with they were on different cards, and she just did them all together anyway then got mad and just walked away when I told her that's not the card I payed for most of it with. And of course, she didn't even ask me if that card was ok for the return amount before putting it through. It wouldn't have mattered except one card was a debit and the other was a credit card. Iv worked in retail and customer service for over 4 years, and I know more than anyone you always double-check with the customer before just continuing with any part of a transaction and you definitely don't just walk away unless the customer is cursing and...

As a man who doesn't enjoy shopping, I find that I only shop at Marshalls for my clothes. I think like most other guys, I just want to get what I want and get on with other things. I hate trying on clothes, but they make it an easy and comfortable experience. Now, more importantly I don't pay regular price for much of anything, I want a bargin. I also enjoy looking at all the other goodies, from cooking utensils to remote control drones. For such a small store, they have a huge variety of constantly changing inventory, unlike so many other stores that just move stuff from one wall to the other to keep people interested. I usually love this store and have shopped for great clothing options, but I just visited this week and became instantly disappointed. They have condensed their plus size section to one single rack. All of their plus sized pants, sweaters, coats, and shirts were on one rack of the store. The regular women’s sizes had racks and racks of the rest of the middle section of the store. Even the purse section had more racks than the plus size section. Fat shaming needs to stop and after inquiring from the employees, I can see that they didn’t like this choice by the management either. I took a photo that I intend to send to their corporate store.
