1 this place is not the Lancaster dist center that has a post office tied to it, this place is just for the drivers to take their trucks for the day. I had a package stuck in Lancaster DIST CENTER for 3 days and I went here first and this is not the DIST CENTER there is no post office here there is no customer service area this is where the mail carriers take their trucks in and out.. But I expressed my issue with one of the mail carriers walking across the lot and asked where I can park he informed me that it is not for customers it is again for the mail carriers BUT he can have me park in a spot and will have a supervisor come out and talk to me.. 3 minutes later a gent came out and I explained my situation and he took my USPS receipt into the building and looked into the matter for me. He came out and gave me the information and that it is down the road at the DIST CENTER as they are a location that is for the drivers only and not for the public, seems a lot of people come to this location thinking it is the DIST center!! He was real nice to me and I have no issues to give this place anything but 5 stars. I then went to the Actual dist center and they did end up finding...
Read moreUpdate - Someone did get back to me about being missed on June 6th and noted that steps were being taken to correct the situation moving forward. Complaint - The business I work for had our package pickup missed from May 29 – June 3, 2025. June 3, I called the main USPS customer service number, they took a report and gave me the number for the local distribution center (this location on Marshall ave). I called multiple times, but the phone only rings. If you let it ring long enough, the phone will auto-disconnect. I later received a call from the postal service (someone must have received our report of missed pickup). I was told to schedule pickups from now on, to ensure we are not missed. This worked on June 5th, but by Friday June 6th, we were missed again. This is becoming a bourdon, as now at the last minute we must take someone away from scheduled tasks, to send them to the post office. I’m not sure if this is USPS wide, or just that our local postal distribution center is unreliable, but it...
Read moreUSPS Mediocrity at its worst. SO the postal service decides not to deliver a package 2 days in a row (even though the sender put the correct address and actually snapped a picture of the label before sending so I know it was right. After a 20 minute wait on 1800 ask USPS they give me the number to this annex as "my local post office" . This sorry excuse for a post office does not answer the phone and even hangs up repeatedly when left to ring. Good luck getting any form of package if it was diverted here. My advice is consider it lost and move onto an insurance claim. Im not terribly upset as its a $10 item I ordered but I will never have anything shipped via USPS again. The one lady on the ASK USPS line could not speak proper English, Spanish or french (yes im trilingual but a native english speaker as well so she should have been able to understand my local PA accent). Seriously I tried 3 common languages. As bad as fed ex and UPS are they are so much more reliable then the...
