Manitowoc County Fair — Attraction in Manitowoc

An atrociously run event stuck in the 1900s. Admission is Cash only, without any sign saying it's cash only. It's 2025, accepting cards is a basic expectation. Beyond that, insufficient admissions staff, insufficient parking, ATM's that charge ridiculous service fees, and unreal daily admission rates add up to a must miss event that has expanded beyond what Manitowoc is capable of operating. First year here and a vendor. Walking around and setting up it looks like it's going to be a really nice Fair. They have different attractions like baby kangaroos and pony rides and a seal show! They also have other kid entertainment, if that wasn't enough. They have face painting and caricatures, a good variety of food vendors and the layout looks really easy to enjoy all of it! Was at windego fest and was asked to leave by security staff because my dog being a service dog means nothing if I'm not blind since dogs are not allowed on the premises. Yes, he wasn't wearing his service dog vest but i wanted to match me as we both have skeleton onesies. He wasn't causing any disturbances at most he was looking around excitedly and would sniff at people who came close. Good thing this isn't my city...
