Perkins American Food Co. — Restaurant in Manitowoc

If the general manager, Berdell Pawelski is working LEAVE AT ONCE. We dine at Manitowoc Perkins every night. Last Wednesday, March 13, 2024 Pawelski was training a waitress. He was more concerned about how she addressed us than getting our order correct. I ordered the Fish and Shrimp and was given an empty plate. My shrimp was on my husband's plate and the fish and rice were totally missing. The waitress wrote it correctly. The cook knew he told her wrong due to our daily dining there. I heard him admit to the cook he screwed up the order. Yet he billed us for $3.99 for grilled shrimp in addition to my husband's order of sirloin steak. He did not bill my order at all. He made no effort to apologize in a timely matter. He treats the staff like dirt and is not friendly with the customers.

VICTORIA, THE ASSISTANT MANAGER, SHOULD BE THE GENERAL MANAGER. She frequently circulates around the dining room and greets customers. She is friendly yet professional.

We have been dining at Manitowoc Perkins for 7 years. If he continues to be employed there, we will find another restaurant. The rest of the staff is awesome. The cooks are great. Our bill is at least $25 to...

I'm giving 2 stars just because of the server. The smasher breakfast.... Should just be called tator tots on a plate. Eggs over easy were pretty much the smallest eggs I've seen and they were not over easy but closer to over hard. Then I told the hostess the breakfast wasn't good and all she said was "sorry". It would've been good if she asked what was wrong at the very least.

The second thing, I took my son to the rest room. While he was going to the bathroom the manager walked out of the toilet and didn't wash his hands. I understand he probably doesn't touch food but still he works in a restaurant and that is disgusting.

My wife is a waitress in a hometown diner and we have had way better food and if something was wrong they would have fixed it or at least try to take money off the bill for an unsatisfactory meal.

I took my family to Perkins last night. We got there around 10pm. I know it was late, but they were still open. The service absolutely sucked from the start. Our waitress was rude, she was definitely trying to rush us to get out. She kept telling us "we ran out of everything", apparently they even ran out of coffee!! She told my kids to looks in the display case when they asked about desserts. When my kids returned and ordered what was in the display she told us "they ran out". You could tell she did not want to be there. When I walked up to the counter to pay I looked over at the display case and seen what my kid ordered that they were "out of", I made a comment to the waitress about it being in the case, she very rudely replied "I told you about that already".
