OfficeMax — Attraction in Manitowoc

The people in the printing center are generally fabulous and always do wonderful, timely work! I give them 5 stars! However, last night it was the manager that really ticked me off. It was 7:50 PM. As soon as I entered the store, I was approached in not so friendly manner by her and emphatically told, "The store closes in 10 minutes." I replied, " Yes, I am aware of that and what I needed to do in the printing center will truly take less than two minutes to complete." I continued to walk towards the printing center and she just kept on talking. Jeez, the store was open for 10 more minutes! I had worked a long day and didn't desire to dawdle in the store any more than necessary either! Another customer entered shortly after I did and got the same "message" from the manager. When I exited there was no, "Thanks for your business or have a nice evening"; just silence. Perhaps the manager should be less concerned about the clock and a little more focused on...

Had to ship an important document to a friend today with 1 day shipping and had never done that before. I didn't ask the name of the lady who workes with the shipping but she was very knowledgeable and helpful with me sending it. She even thought of how to be more specific on where to ship it. This was great especially since it was being shipped to a campground and the more details the better. She deserves a raise and makes me know if i ever am in a pickle again and need to mail something quick to go there first. I wish i had her name to give the proper credit to her but by the sounds of it she has worked in that department for a while and knows her stuff. Thank you! Called there because I needed a charger for my laptop. I gave them the model number and they told me "we have chargers, just bring it in and we will find what uou need". Great! Well I get there and I ask where I can find the chargers and first they send me to the wrong place. But then when I get to where the laptop chargers ate there was only one kind there that was not compatible to my laptop. Their suggestion was for me to drive 30 minutes to their nearest store and buy it there. Needless to say I will just order one on line from a different store.
