BEWARE!! HORRIFIC Customer Service (I don't want any stars to be highlighed). DON'T purchase a mattress from WG&R. My husband and purchased a Sealy (Palatial Crest Viscountess) mattress in Sept. 2021. For the first couple of months it was very comfortable. Starting this past January the bed started to "cave in" where my husband and I slept. We tried rotating it many times since this bed was not flippable. Yet, the middle of the bed was just fine. The sides of the bed also started to "buldge" out on one side and cave in on the other. After going to many Chiropractor appointments for extreme pain caused from the bed; we reached out to customer service. They wanted us to take pictures/measure of the "divots and "bulges" (which is fine because I was not going pay the $100 fee for someone to come out and inspect it). They then wanted to see what the mattress was sitting on (which mind you was not required to have a box spring) which were told it could sit on a box spring as it "wouldn't hurt" the mattress. Long story short....after many emails, phone calls Sealy and WG&R denied the claim. Everyone I spoke with on the phone at WG&R were extremly rude and most definetly did NOT want to make this right (all we wanted was a refund for the mattress).    Read moreDo not shop here! My wife and I looked for a long time for a bed that we actually liked. We were able to find one that we liked a lot at WG&R in Manitowoc. We were looking for a few things and ended up purchasing a bed and two nightstands. We were told that the bed we purchased was in stock, but it had to be shipped in from Green Bay. I recieved a call a month later one week before the original pick up date letting me know that the bed we purchased was not available anymore and had been sold to someone else. We worked with Matt who was not knowledgeable about the products we were looking for and had to run to the computer multiple times. Even after looking at the computer we were told the wrong price on a chair by hundreds of dollars which we found out hours later by phone call. Going in to resolve the issue of not getting the bed anymore we were greeted by Matt with very little sympathy and basically just a shoulder shrug. We were given our money back and offered the same sale price we originally got on something else if we wanted it and was told there was nothing else they could do. Here are your options:
Pay for delivery ($67). However, because their distribution warehouse is in Green Bay (and deliveries are only made twice a week), you will probably have to wait 1-2 weeks. They will dispose of furniture you are replacing, though.
Get it from the warehouse yourself. If you have a truck, you can pick it up yourself. However, it will be a roughly 120 mile round trip to their warehouse in Green Bay. If you have to rent a truck, a standard U-Haul will cost roughly $100 after mileage, and not including gas. You might be able to pick it up the same day (if they have your purchase in stock), though.
Pick it up from the store. Deliveries are only made to the store weekly, so you'll have to wait until the next available shipment to the store.
Provided all goes well with the delivery, I'm satisfied with the prices/quality, but fairly unsatisfied with the nearly-unavoidable delays in receiving...
