¡Qué maravilla! El Tequila Mexican Restaurant has captured my corazón with its auténtico sabor mexicano. This hidden gem is my go-to spot in town, and for good reason. The moment you step inside, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere that screams ¡Viva México!
One of the most impressive aspects is the speed of service—¡la comida llega volando! Whether it's tacos al pastor or enchiladas suizas, the cocina works like a well-oiled machine, ensuring your order arrives promptly without compromising on quality.
And speaking of quality, the food here is siempre delicioso. From the rich flavors of their mole to the freshness of their guacamole, every bite is a fiesta for your taste buds. And let's not forget the precios—it's incredibly affordable, typically spending between $10 to $20 per person for a satisfying meal.
What's even better is that El Tequila is kid-friendly, making it a perfect spot for familia outings. The niños can enjoy their meals while the adults indulge in some margaritas or cervezas.
In conclusion, El Tequila Mexican Restaurant embodies the spirit of México in every aspect—flavorful food, speedy service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience that keeps me coming back for more. ¡Salud...
Read moreThe food was excellent A+. Highly recommended. Maybe order takeout instead of dine-in.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was really dirty. Flies were everywhere, but especially all over the windows . Cobwebs. The area of our table near the wall was filthy. It had food crumbs and stickiness.
Our waiter was also rather impatient. It was our first time at this restaurant and we wanted a moment to look over the menu. We let him know that, and he gave us maybe a minute before returning. We still weren't ready. He came back a minute later again. When we still weren't ready that time, he huffed at us and didn't return for ten minutes. The guy who took our card for payment was also less than friendly.
I rarely leave less than five stars because I work in food service and I understand how important the five star rating is (so I'm giving you four stars instead of the three I think this experience deserves).
We also left a $20 cash tip on our $40 order because despite the poor service, I still wanted to make sure our server was paid well. It would have been nice though to have had a...

Chips and salsa: The chips were big yellow corn chips and good for dipping. There was no salt on the chips. The salsa was really good, puréed and a hint of heat - 4
Lime Margartia on the Rocks: It was a really good margarita. It tasted like the margarita mix from Costco, which isn’t a bad thing at all - 4
Steak Taco: Flavor: 5 Fullness: 5 Appearance: 5
The steak was chopped up in to nice size pieces and had a nice char on it as well as seasoned really good. The meat did not have any gristly pieces. They use red onions, which is a win for us. The tortillas were nicely fried on the flat top.
Chicken Taco: Flavor: 3 Fullness: 5 Appearance: 5
The chicken was made with peppers but it didn’t taste like, but had good flavor. The chicken was moist. The cheese had a very over powering and distinct flavor which took over the taco unfortunately.
Service: Everything came out as ordered and was fast - 5
