Worst experience Iâve ever had at a movie theater. Me and my mom wanted to have an amazing experience watching the nostalgic freakier Friday. While the move itself was an amazing our service was not. All we ordered was a HOT buttered popcorn and a slushee. Our movie started at 8:30 ordered our popcorn around 8:42 because it took Nathan around 15 minutes to get to us. His customer service was great but I didnât get my popcorn until 9:30⊠not to mention the popcorn was cold and stale. We sent the popcorn back which took another 10-15 minutes for someone to come see what we needed this time it was a young girl. My mom asked was it supposed to be hot she said yes and that she would get us more. That took a whole nother 30-45 minutes. We pressed our button AGAIN and Nathan finally comes back to us we told him we sent back the popcorn said heâd check that took 20 more minutes. So basically I did not get my popcorn until the END of the movie and the second batch was NOT HOT. Extremely disappointed in my experience. We wanted to order happy hour but with the quality of the popcorn we didnât want to waste anymore money ( Nathan charged our card 8 MINUTES into the movie 8:38 my mom received a text about her card being charged) we hadnât received our popcorn yet and the card was still charged after we had already told him we wanted happy hour.. how did that make sense??? Nathan came after the movie to drop off the reciept not to check if we were okay with our new popcorn or anything. After the movie I was extremely frustrated and dissatisfied. How does a theatre mess up popcorn? There was no manager in site for me to express my concern to so here I am on the internet.. 0/10 wonât be back again. Nathan said he was busy when we greeted him. There was only 6 people in the theatre. As we were walking to the car after the movie we asked a couple that was in the movie theatre how their experience was and they said the same thing about the popcorn and said they got the same excuse. Yall were not busy AT ALL it was the night before school started. I promise you us 6 people were the only people in the theater. I was upset the whole ride home because all I wanted was to have my popcorn and slushee while watching...
Read moreI've been to this new dine-in theater multiple times and wow! So good and always a fun time! The place is nice and newly constructed, and the vibes are relaxed and inviting. Recliners could go back further, but it's not worth taking a star off. Most recently saw Dune 2 and even though it's a looong movie, the service staff is attentive and available anytime your press the service button, and usually pretty speedy to get there! (We did once see a late night movie, and had to wait a bit for our server to get to us, but there didn't seem to be a lot of employees when we got there so maybe slow night or short staffed that day? But be patient and they'll always take care of you!!)
Good place to come for a date or bring the family or friends to see that cool new movie you wanted to see. Been here with my somewhat large family and also on dates with the wife, every time the servers cater to the group.
Their beer selection is varied and will have something you'll like but probably won't have the same old, same old beer you drink (ex: Dos XX, Coors etc). BUT with that said, I've had multiple different drafts throughout my visits (their brews and the local beers they have) and was ALWAYS satisfied. Ask your server or the bartender to get you some free samples of stuff similar to what you usually drink!! Also some good cocktails to choose from (though cocktails aren't usually my style, I tried my wife's once or twice and was pleasantly surprised. And she says she hasn't tried one she didn't like; apparently their margarita with PatrĂłn is really good)
Special shout-outs: To the server Tyler, we've had him as our server twice now and he was phenomenal! He is patient and knowledgeable about the menu and made special requests for my son's dietary restrictions with no hesitation đ€© Hope we have him again in the future!
The bartender Nakiyah has been there a couple times we went and we usually stop at the bar before going to the theater. She is very helpful and friendly! We like to chat and she is always a good conversationalist. She also makes the drinks...
Read moreWent 12/2/23 for Beyonce Renaissance. It's brand new & clean. I gave the waiter a $20 well before the start of my order, he acted like it was a procedure to break it. He never got to it and kept making excuses so I had to leave the movie to get it at the bar myself. It was not a problem. I read the reviews & knew to do cash. I think he was wanting to not break it so he could keep my extra dollars. I don't like the way they force 18% gratuity on the bill so watch that so you don't pay twice a tip. That's sneaky. Perhaps you only serviced me 15%. Food was good but drink came 20 min later after my Philly Steak & fries and I missed a part of the movie getting change he wouldn't do. Stop trying to do the forced tips. I may wanna pay more but because of that automatic charge, I may not eat or drink next time there. Now what! Pictured is a beer sample and the Philly Steak and Fries. It was very good.
Update: I went back 12/27/23 to see the Color Purple. Mgmt changed my seat and theater room but they can't send a new bar code for the new seat. I guess a private party brought it out. I was told a ticket would be at the box office on arrival, it wasn't. So I was eventually allowed in without one but I hoped no one would boot me out my seat. I had an email though. The staff was confused as no mgrs were around at 715p. The theater as well as the bathrooms were more dirty, full of popcorn and paper all over the ladies room and not clean. I got the Philly sandwich again with the onion ring upgrade but it was much smaller buns and hardly meat this time. Watch for that extra gratuity on top of what you pay that they lock in. You have to hit custom to take it off. They really try to force that 2nd tip on you. Since everything was filty, I changed the rating from a 4 to a 3. Yall too new to...
