Drinks - That Lemon 🍋 Drop Martini 🍸was packed with lemony flavor and they did NOT hold back on the liquor! The Strawberry Margarita had a good flavor as well, but I think it could've been a bit thicker. (Maybe it wasn't as thick because we pretty much were the 1st customers of the day, and the Margarita machine needed more time to wake up 😴). Lol... 🤣🤣 The kids enjoyed their Strawberry 🍓 Lemonades as well.

Appetizer - The Seafood Dip is a mixture of shrimp 🦐, scallops, crab 🦀, mozzarella, cheddar, & Cajun seasoning. The cheeses blended so well with this seafood medley! Served with buttered French bread🥖 for dipping, each bite was so mouth-watering and amazing. To be honest, I ate so much of this dip, that I was too full to finish my entrée.

Entrees - Lobster House Pasta: The lobster was steamed and sat on top of the house made pasta with a flavorful marinara sauce. The sauce had a hint of sweetness to it, which made it a perfect balance with the seasonings. Now that I think about it, this probably would've been paired better with a glass of white wine, instead of the Lemon 🍋 Drop Martini 🍸. **Here's something you may want to try when ordering this dish - Dip the lobster meat into some melted butter, then chase it with the marinara soaked pasta. Mmmm...unbelievable Taste! *This dish was delicious, and as usual...I couldn't finish it all. So, I had leftovers for lunch the next day. 😊

Gumbo: As a New Orleans⚜ native, I'm always going to be extra critical when it comes to this dish, because my people back home make the BEST 😋! So, when I taste Gumbo anywhere else, there's a specific standard or level of expectation that has to be met. With that being said, let me get to critiquing this particular Gumbo @ The KingCrabHouse... It was alright...it wasn't the best, but it definitely wasn't the worse. It was like something was missing. Maybe I should've had a bottle of File' to sprinkle a lil bit in there, but I only had 2 spoonfuls of my husband's bowl. Nevertheless, he liked it. So, that's all that matters.

Popcorn Chicken: Our 8 year-old thought this was pretty good. He's a picky eater. So, for him to like this was a plus!

Snow Crabs with Boiled Shrimp, Potatoes, Corn and Sausage: To say that our 12, going on 13 year-old, LOVES ❤ crabs 🦀...is an understatement!!! He said they were very delicious and well seasoned. His biggest concern when ordering them was: Is it going to be spicy, yet still enjoyable enough to taste the flavor? Because, he has experienced times where the spice would overpower the seasoning of the crabs, crawfish, or shrimp. Thankfully, this wasn't one of those times! He knocked those suckers out! Needless to say, yes, he really enjoyed every bite!

FINAL THOUGHTS

Overall, this is a great spot, even if you just want to enjoy a game night (football, basketball, etc...), girls' night, or date night at the bar; because there are TV screens all throughout the restaurant. There's even a wall with sinks for customers to walk up to and wash their hands, which I think is a smart idea, especially dealing with seafood. Also, the customer service was fabulous! Our server, Tyler, was very nice and welcomed us as first-timers. 😊

I gave 3 stars more so due to the customer service. When I walked in ,the hostess was not very welcoming for the restaurant to have just opened. I placed a to go order and the gentleman that took my order did not honor the advertisement of 10% off. It wasn't a big deal but I witnessed a customer also not get the 10% off and come back to request it. While driving home my seafood boil tilted over and it was clear they did not secure my bag with the seafood boil in it. I mean they didn't attempt to tie the bag or double bag it. So now my car will have the stench of seafood until I can clean my carpet. When I finally was able to get to the good stuff, I noticed that one of my crab clusters only had 2 1/2 legs on it.Now to the good stuff. The crab legs and shrimp are highly recommended. The consistency for the sauce for the boil was very liquidy but nevertheless had great flavor. The seafood egg rolls were good but I could have done without the seasoned fries. I will give King Crab House another try . UPDATE: I decided to give it a second chance tonight and I must say, they did not let me down. The customer service was great, the vibe was great and the food was good. Though there was an issue with my order, they quickly addressed the problem. Today was one of the most bad experiences I had at this place being a loyal customer for over a year. I came in today for lunch with friends I've had the oysters on a half shell and instead of the oysters not being connected to the shell as they should my oysters were still connected by the tissue on the shell. Also, the crab sauce had a distinctive taste that was bland and off from previous time that I've been here. Within 40 minutes of sitting there waiting on my guest I received my crab and mussels I had to return my crab and mussels because the flavor that I've chosen it with the spice level was way off. And I've asked the waiter is this lemon pepper sauce he said yes it is the lemon pepper sauce but it was sweeter than it tasting like lemon pepper it tastes like sweet butter sauce... Lol so that's when I realized that king crab house had to be under new management. And indeed, it was under new management I've asked the waiter and he confirmed. So I will not be going back to this place because the flavors were off the waiter was great he was tentative but the food and the flavor and the experience wasn't like past times that I've been here sorry but I have to give...
