I been to this store since it open. Now you don’t know what you going to get. Tonight was the last straw. When I walked in the pizza maker was rude, but I over looked it. Why she was taking my order she keep asking what I would want on my pizza, since they didn’t have many toppings on the right make line, so I would have to look on the the left side. The young lady would get upset because I have to look on the other side to see what I wanted. By the way I was the only person in line at the time. I also got a chop salad and she got upset, because I asked if she was going to cut the salami up and she said she had no way of cutting it up. I said ok, then she pulled the the salami off the salad and threw it in the trash. Went and got a knife and came back got more salami, cut it up and put it on the salad. By the time she finished the salad my pizza was ready. I’m waiting to check out, which I had over 300 point’s that was getting ready to expire. I told the young lady I was using the point because they expires tomorrow. The young lady that fixed my food said you can only use one and said I’ll just cancel the order since they expires tomorrow. I told her I can just purchase the pizza she said NO NEXT TIME YOU NEED TO LET US KNOW WHEN YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE FREE PIZZA. I was again said I can just pay for the pizzas. She said no it okay. I asked for a bag for my salad and she seemed like she didn’t want to give me a bag. As I bagged my salad up she went on the side of the oven telling them I had no money and just wanted to use my reward for free pizzas. Not thinking if a person have over 300 points they must be spending money with MOD to get that many points at once. I try to overlook the rudeness of the employee, but this have drawn the line. I will be taking my business to Blaze Pizza where the restaurant is clean and I’m respected as a customer. I called back to get the young lady name Grace and she said she was the manager and still had the same attitude. A word of advice if you don’t like to deal with people you shouldn’t be in a industry where you have to deal with...
Read moreI always really enjoy mod pizza for its customizability. I also appreciate that they don’t nickel and dime over toppings…. One price regardless of how many extras. I did discover that it’s easier to more thoroughly customize your order via their website than in the rushed process of the in store line. Even when there was no one else behind me, I have felt rushed through the process of choosing toppings. Each person can make their own and that way there are never arguments over half this way and half that way. The staff has always been pleasant with me even though they’re a bit rushed. There is sometimes a bit of inconsistency when ordering online. You don’t always receive all of the toppings ordered. I don’t make a big deal about it though because the pizza always tastes fantastic regardless. It’s impressive how many specialty items they carry to accommodate all sorts of dietary restrictions including keto, gluten free, vegan etc. If I were to offer one complaint it would be that their online order pick up process is sloppy and results in a back up of people loitering near the cash register and drink fountain for sometimes a solid 20 minutes past the online promised completion time. It defeats the purpose if you’re trying to avoid indoor crowds during the pandemic. On the flip side, your pizza is always hot! The dining room is always full and bustling with pleased customers and there’s nearly always a line waiting to order. Overall I’m very happy eating here over and over. (Side note: it’s the only pizza place I’ve found that carries a non dairy vegan cheese option and it actually tastes really good! Huge kudos to...
Read moreI've been to a MOD Pizza a few times several years back and one of these chains has finally made it to Mansfield. Think of it as the Subway of Pizza. Expect long queues due to the serial fashion of the Pizza assembly line.
By default, they will push an 11" MOD pizza on you which is SIX slices of pizza and honestly way too much pizza for most people. After reviewing the web site before going though, I discovered they had a much more reasonable 6" mini pizza size. However, they don't advertise this fact because they want you to order a pizza that is way to big. It's simply not on the menu and you have to ask for it. When you do order a mini, they discourage you from ordering it and warn you that the size you got today will be "much smaller" next time due to some reason I really didn't understand. I find this practice of giving people too much food absolutely despicable and this is why we have an issue with people overeating in this country.
The mini pizza that we ordered was just the right size and I felt it had more of a crispiness in the crust than the regular 11" size.
I have commented in the past, that MOD pizza is a decent option when a single person takes a lunch break. However, if you were to take a family of our here, this is where the concept really breaks down. At $8.27 per pizza, a family of four is looking at nearly $50 for everyone to get their own pizza and a drink. If I am paying that much for food, I want to sit down and be served by a waitstaff rather than wait in a queue. Don't take your family here. It simply...
