I ordered takeout 3 times in 4 days, same order each time, breakfast sandwich. 1st time I was asked if I want hashbtowns with my sandwich. I say no. 2nd time asked if I want hashbtowns, I say no. She then asks if I want fruit or coleslaw...I ask if it comes with, she says it's a choice ...I say ok I guess it comes with and requested fruit. NO other options were given first day sooo I just miss out on something included. I get there to pick up...the woman behind the counter is discussing something with another EE while getting my fruit...she is holding my cup of fruit close to her face as she talks, she then decided she put too much fruit in the cup and WITH HER BARE HAND starts picking pieces out to flop back in the fruit bin (I threw my fruit cup out). 3rd time the woman I placed the order with on the phone was Very Aggressive to the point of coming across as rude. She takes my credit card, rings up my order when I pick up, and hands me to sign...it was over $16, she made a mistake, fine. BUT then proceeds to take 5 full minutes trying to figure out how to void and redo With the help of another EE. Well needless to say my sandwich was barely warm by then. OH and they have a large sign saying TakeOut orders a tip is greatly appreciated...Here is The Tip (Don't handle food with your Bare Hands, Make sure a Customer understands what their options are and Be Nice, You are in a SERVICE Industry. Personally, I don't think Buying Your Product and Picking it up warrants a Tip...I would rather tip for instance the grocery store clerk who is handling each item and bagging it up...With a Smile. My breakfast sandwich was very good each time But due to bad service I'm sure I can do...
Read moreWow....now that I got that out let me enlighten you on my visit. We visited on a Saturday morning for breakfast. We arrived around 7:20 and it wasn't too busy so we were seated right away. The layout out the restaurant is nice.
Server: Our server was Barbara and she was very nice and attentive. She was courteous and quite nice while answering our questions and taking our order.
Food/Beverages: We went with the regular hot coffee for our drink and I fell in love with it. The menu stated it was their own special brew and it was brewed to perfection. Take it from someone who drinks coffee everyday, I know a good coffee when I taste it. Maybe it's just my taste buds but the coffee didn't have a very strong tast and with a little cream and sugar it was ready to go. Our food came out within a VERY reasonable time. Everything tasted so fresh and boy was it DE-LICI-OUS.
Overall: I wish we lived closer so we could visit this place more often. Best believe it's going on my list of places to visit when I'm back in town. If you are questioning if you should give this place a try, stop thinking about...
Read moreI wanted to like this place. The wait wasn't terrible for how busy it was. The menu has a lot of good options and the restaurant itself is clean (except for the bathrooms). For a table of five the wait was a little long but not terrible. When the food came out it was good. Unfortunately, two out of the three plates with eggs had large (greater than an inch across) peices of egg shells in them, which ruined what were otherwise great plates. Our waiter was pretty absent most of the time we were there. But when we grabbed her and brought it to her attention she took the two plates off of the menu and offered to have the kitchen make us new dishes, which we declined. I would have written it off as an accident but to have that amount of shell in two separate egg dishes (one poached and one over hard) is really not a good look. My wife and I might give it another chance, because it has the makings of a good spot. But I wouldn't bring company...
