Mansfield House of Pizza — Restaurant in Mansfield

I don't know if I've ever walked out of a place, started my car and immediately took my phone out to write a review because I was so impressed, but I am now!

I've been over 1000 miles away from home for a couple of weeks now for work and won't see my family for a while. One of the ways I'm dealing with it is by trying a different Mansfiled area restaurant about every other night.

I've been craving lasagna and I saw on the menu that MHop had it.

The owner (I assume) was doing everything on his own pretty much the entire time I was there.

He put the TV on for me as I was the only one dining in this early for dinner, at the time.

The lasagna with sausage was some of the most delicious I've ever had in my life! It was a HUGE plate full at the most reasonable price I've seen in the area for ANYTHING! It was perfectly made the way I like it best.

He was extremely friendly and obviously appreciates his customers rather than treating them like a bother, which is so often seen these days. I could tell by his regulars that came in for pick-up orders that this is just the way he is. One of them told him how awesome he was when he was picking up his order.

This will definitely not be a single visit. I have yet to try east coast pizza, so I will certainly be back!

After my review below, the owner called me directly on Monday morning to apologize. He went out of his way to find my cell phone number, which I thought was terrific. I talked and he listened. It was super refreshing to get a response like this and I was very impressed with his passion to make my experience better next time. These are great people at M-Hop and I plan to give them another try in the future!

I ordered my food at 12:25. Had a work meeting at 12:30 that ended up taking an hour instead of the 30 minutes I had originally planned for. When I went to go pick up my food the owner was rude. I greeted him, asked him how he was doing he just mumbled good and looked at me. I said I’m here to pick up my order. He said he didn’t think I was coming anymore, without as much of a call to me, or a warning about timing he got rid of my food.
