Former stylist & nail tech here so Iâm pretty critical of nail salons. Iâd give like a 3.75 outta 5 stars. Theyâre friendly and nice. I Had a fill in + pedi w/gel and cat eye polish on hands..came out to $114. Wouldnât be agitated with it if my nails looked pristine and uniform. But the massage was very blah for the pedicure, the finger nails are straight but they arenât the same length as they are on the other handâŚthey have a combo special on their site saying $75 for fill in + pedicure (obviously it costs extra for gel & cat eye and l repair plus fill in acrylic on big toe) HOWEVER, to tack on an extra $40 for 2 toes to get filled it and upgraded nail polishâŚkinda outrageous. I was told each service was 50+ with a $114 price tag plus tip for 2 people, I feel like 1. They charged each service separately and not combo and 2. Added extra charge. I had high expectations and it didnât match up. Why do I have to tell them I know about their combo price thatâs on their website? Why do I have to file my own nails down in the salon to make them look straight? If I gotta pay $114 for be up charged and still file them down at home..why am I paying you for this?? Not saying not to give them a try but just saying, people work incredibly hard for their money and to treat themselves every once in a while, and for something thatâs kinda a mid service for that money, you expect better. Maybe cause it was close to closing time? But my advice, compare both hands together, and actually do a massage in the pedicure or donât do it at all it gives the impression...
Read moreOnly giving a 2 because the lady that worked on my nails was very kind, gentle and caring. Iâve been wearing dip for over 2 years now and it has allowed my natural nails to grow so strong. I went to this salon on Thursday 3/9, pictured are my nails today, just days later. I have never had dip break and chip like this especially within days of getting them done. Before getting started, like always, they ask you to pick out a color. I chose gold and green for st. Pattyâs day. The gold came out more of an orange tint and the lady quickly corrected it with a coat of gel overtop which I was satisfied with. Checking out is where Iâm completely dissatisfied with the customer service and quality of products since my manicure didnât even last a full week. They charged me $45 for the dip manicure and $45 for the gel pedicure and tried to add on $5 for the gel coat because itâs not their fault the dip differs in color from the options they give you and what they put on you. I refused to pay the extra $5 considering it wasnât what I asked for and the lady made it a quick fix which I was ok with instead of taking the entire dip off and redoing it to the color I asked for. They also donât tell you they have a fee for using a card. Quality of service was great during the mani & pedi but customer service needs to be reviewed. Should always state prices before services as well. Nails that started chipping and cracking 2 days after is...
Read moreGiving two stars because my neice liked her nails. Mine, on the other hand, look like I did them...and I'm horrible at doing nails. I got a regular manicure, no gel, just regular degular nail polish. The coats are uneven, and the nails were still wet an hour after leaving due to how thickly the polish was put on. Only a small fan was provided at the station to dry my nails between coats. Because they took so long to dry, they have smudges, dents, and chips in them already. I'm actually on my way to Walgreens to get some some pure acetone to get all these thick layers off my nails. The staff was very nice and welcoming, but the lady doing my nails stopped a few times to answer the phone or look in books. That always bothers me. She didn't look over her work before letting me go. I have some paint on my cuticles, and some nails where theres clearly nail showing. Most of the nail polish looked old. They really need to upgrade their selection. I was trying to find a local spot so I could stop going to Philly, but this salon won't be it. There were also eye lashes on the white towel she had my hands sitting on. Didn't notice until close to the end, and was kind of grossed out. I know they were false extensions, but why are they on a towel that should be clean? Anywho, the search for a local nail...
