Responding to the owner:
Any reputable shop who has âvideo footageâ would respectfully ask the customer for a moment to check last nights âvideo footageâ to confirm that #1 it was indeed sold by your employee and #2 that the condition in which it was returned was also the condition in which it was sold. If you were a respectable owner you would not have outright made those accusations prior to reviewing your own footage or verifying with your employee. Your policy should also state to return the item with receipt and with employee verification. Furthermore, I find it strange that you somehow came up with footage when you told my husband you did not have any footage of last nights purchase. If you do have it feel free to share the entire footage of last nights purchase and todayâs encounter and not just clips to fit your narrative. Additionally, we live 12 mins from your location and to even insinuate that the âchocolates were meltedâ is absurd. I greeted my husband right as he pulled into the garage and was handed these. I personally put these on the table and I looked at the flowers and chocolate and decided I didnât want them. The chocolate was not melted so donât even lie. đ It has sat there til the morning which I helped him load into the car. Your âsecondhandâ account of what transpired is of little value given you pretended to handle the situation professionally. Your empty âgesture of goodwillâ was not needed as a simple âsurveillance checkâ and ârefundâ should have occurred from the beginning. If you or your family were accused or treated in that manner you would not be ok with it either.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely horrible experience all around by the owner! My husband bought me a bouquet and chocolate the night before at approximately 5 pm; however, I did not like it as I have my own flower garden and would prefer a live plant to add to my garden. I wished I took photos of the bouquet but a few of the flowers on the outside were wilting with dried leaves but overall the center looked pretty. The next morning my husband went to return the bouquet at 8 am when the shop opened. Keep in mind they have a 7 day return policy! The shop owner accused my husband of buying it from another shop and trying to return it there! The owner said they havenât had that type of bouquet for weeks and asked all his employees if they sold it yesterday. He even texted his employee from the night before to which she responded that she did sell it to my husband. No apologies still. Instead, the owner continued to harass and berate my husband the entire time he was there! Saying nasty comments like âyou know what you did, you left it outsideâ & a bunch of crazy accusations. It was absolutely the most horrendous and TOXIC experience we have ever experienced!! I felt awful my husband experienced that. No one should be treated that way period. Throughout the entire time his employees continued to apologize to my husband. I am glad they finally refunded him but we are never going here again and we will definitely tell our clients to stay clear of this shop. I canât believe this toxic owner has employees and I canât believe this place is still open with the fake service the owner gives. Bought from this shop many times prior to this day. Employees were always helpful and pleasant. Today I met the owner and it was the worst experience. I hope he doesnât treat his employees the way he treated me today.
Bought a large arrangement of flowers in a vase at 5pm yesterday and returned them the day after at 8AM because my wife didnât love them. The owner accused me of fraud and said they havenât sold the flowers I was returning for over a week. I know nothing of flowers but as my receipt says, I purchased it from them. That was not enough for him and he needed to verify with his employee (who was not at work) before he could return it. That employee verified the purchase and he ultimately agreed, begrudgingly. He continued making vulgar and offensive comments the entire time. And I quote he said, âI donât want or need your business.â
A 2 min interaction turned into a 15 minute verbal abuse by the owner. I was very uncomfortable and Iâm sure his other 2 employees felt the same.
