I feel bad that the reviews here are terrible, so I wanted to chime in with a positive one and add a little context. This place has only been opened 2 weeks. The poor reviews are from when they'd been opened less than a week. If you've ever worked at a new business you know there are serious growing pains. New workers in training, high pressure, trial and error of what works and what doesn't. Maybe those experiences were during someone's very first shift. While I do believe the woman who had her purchases ruined should have had an exception made for an employee not packing up things well, it may have also been a poor call made from lack of experience. Painted Tree is a chain and they may have been folllowing a script, and not felt empowered to make exceptions when they're so new. Maybe, maybe not. Also, bad attitudes could just be stress. I do understand the reviewers' frustrations for sure. But give it another chance. Give them time to settle in. I went today and had a perfectly pleasant experience. Everyone was friendly, despite the fact they're still running around getting things unpacked and set up. I think it's going to be a really cool space and I look forward to their grand opening...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVENDORS BEWARE! On August 20th, I was sent a photo of my booth items that had already been moved out of my booth before my lease ended on August 22nd, and without my consent.
Several items were missing, including a full-size mannequin, tabletop mannequin, end tables, and an expensive clothing rack. After I raised the issue and said I would check the store to see if other vendors had them, most of those items suddenly reappeared and were with the collectionwhen I went to pick up. That alone suggests that staff knew where they were all along.
The most valuable item, a professional full-size plaster mannequin, was never returned. An employee even acknowledged seeing it go missing. I can understand the risk of minor theft in a retail environment, but you do not expect a full-size mannequin to disappear under employee supervisionāespecially when managers themselves are the ones addressing the issue.
The shifting explanations, the āmagicalā reappearance of items, and the disappearance of the mannequin point to serious employee misconduct and a lack of accountability. Vendors deserve to know that belongings may not be...

All items were packed by an employee into one bag. When I arrived home I found that a jar with oil had leaked on all purchases, ruining them. I immediately returned to store to exchange the damaged goods and was told by Kayley, store manager, that I could not exchange/ return anything because once you leave the store, cannot return anything damaged. The district manager, Jenny Landry confirmed this without exception. So basically, they might as well have said that after shopping for and purchasing these items, I could have intentionally poured oil on them just to make a return and spend time giving poor reviews. Really? Terrible...
