KFC Ticket# 1776 Restaurant# J625208 7500 Big Bend Boulevard (314)644-0480 1/28/2025 2:04PM All I ordered was their $10 Tuesday deal and a Large Coleslaw through the drive thru. They told me that it was going to be a 15-minute wait. I said I would wait. He looked shocked! Then he told the other lady working that I would wait. She then told him to tell me that it would be 20-minute wait instead. I said I would still wait. They said ok and then told me to pull up and park and they would bring it out. 30-minutes went by and nobody came out or even looked outside. I then went inside and told the cashier that it's been 30 minutes now and you said it was going to be 20. That woman said out loud it wasn't done yet. I then stood there and waited and 34-minutes total they finally had my small order done and never an apology or sorry from anyone. While I was waiting another man came in and just ordered a small 3 piece meal and they told him there was going to be a wait on that as well. He said he would wait as well. I come here to this KFC every Tuesday and 1 other day every single week. So, i visit this store 2 times a week and they do the same thing every single time I come here. They always say there is going to be a 20-minute wait for chicken. I think they do this, so they don't have to cook any chicken and you'll either walk out or just drive off. I wouldn't think this, but this happens every single time I go to this restaurant. Every single employee there is extremely rude and never do they say thank you etc. I honestly don't have any idea how this place is still in business. There is absolutely no management here at all or management is in on the laziness of not working and just collecting a check. After months and months of this treatment and after today's episode I am finally done going to this restaurant and will drive further to a different KFC to get food. I read the reviews to this place on google and everything they say backs up everything I am saying. All these people in this establishment are a joke. The cashier on this day was (Timothy). Other times I have waited the people are some of the rudest people I know in the food business. It's obvious that upper management doesn't care. It's just a matter of time for this place to go under and close it's doors...
Read moreNever before have I felt pressure to apologize for deigning enter a drive thru line. A drive through interaction is supposed to be short, friendly, and result in you driving away and forgetting about the encounter. The cashier (Charvon according to the receipt) was so rude in such a short period of time I'm honestly flabbergasted and am thus bothering to write a review
I had pulled up to the empty drive thru line and waited a beat, long enough that I wasn't sure if the restaurant was open. There was only one car in the parking lot, which I found odd, and was contributing to my impression that maybe I was in the drive thru of a closed restaurant. I said hello. No response. I waited a bit longer and a truck pulled in behind me in the drive thru, making me think that maybe the restaurant was actually open. I said hello again and waited a while longer. After the third time, I was getting ready to leave and he comes on the intercom and says he was just waiting for me to stop saying hello. I was surprised by this justification and stammered out that I would please like a famous bowl. I've never known someone to take such offense to a simple word like hello. Nor was it in a particularly sassy voice, more of an inquisitive tone belying my uncertainty to the status of the restaurant. And it's not like I said it very many times in proportion to the amount of time I waited. Nor could he possibly have been busy with other customers as there were only the two cars in the drive thru, and presumably his car in the parking lot. He barked my total out at me, and then a tense and terse exchange of money and food took place. I can only assume he was having a terrible day and maybe I pulled up while he was on the toilet or something. The whole thing was so off-putting and unusual.
The famous bowl...
Read moreOn 6/18/20, after visiting my chiropractor, I stopped at the KFC on Big Bend. My bill was $6 and some change. I have them a $20 and the correct change leaving a $14 change. When he handed me my food I drove off without my change. I live north and when I got close to home I realized I did not get my change. I called the store and spoke to someone I assumed was the manager. He said he would check the drawer and call me back. He called back and said that the worker said I drove off without my change. He said he couldn't mail it to me but would put it in the drawer with my name on it. I told him it would be a few weeks before I got back south. He advised me it would be OK and would be in the drawer. Well, I went today and they said there was no envelope for me and no one knew what I was talking about. They asked for my name and number because there was a manager they could not reach. I am now waiting on a call. If I had known I couldn't trust the employees of KFC, I would have driven back that same day. I will update this review. I hope they are honest. After speaking to all the managers one said that he would mail me my $14.00. He called a few days later and said he was putting it in the mail. That was over a week ago. No mail. Called back and he said he told me he would look into it not that he would mail it. So, whatever dishonest person kept my change I hope they enjoyed it. I will NEVER eat at any KFC again in my life and will encourage my friends to avoid KFC. Dishonest people have no place in my life. Looking at the other negative reviews I see that this store has a lot of issues and they do not really care about negative reviews. That is sad. In business, your reputation is money. Of course, when you keep change and overcharge on a regular basis, your reputation...
