I truly have nothing but great things to say about Saint Louis Boxing Club. The atmosphere is always positive and high energy. The group classes are always different, challenging, and fun. They fly by and a killer workout is behind you before you even realize it. Members and trainers are always pushing you to get the most out of your workouts. The idea of a boxing class can be intimidating but everyone there is so welcoming and helpful and the trainers are always giving modifications. STLBC is also so much more than just a boxing gym - I love the variety of different classes and personal training options they offer to help EVERYONE reach their goals. In addition to the traditional boxing class, some of my favorites are bootcamp/conditioning, box & bells, and personal training sessions that focus on weightlifting and mitt work. They even offer classes outside when it's nice out! I love that I actually look forward to my workouts and always walk out of there feeling better than...
Read moreI never thought I needed a gym family until I stepped into St. Louis Boxing Club. During the pandemic, a group of women and I started taking their outdoor classes. It was challenging, but the best part of it was the coach, Bre. Her teaching style and confidence-building approach was unlike anything I've ever experienced. She made class difficult but doable, never yelling but always encouraging. Once I signed up to join, I immediately fell in love with the family atmosphere of this gym. The coaches are unique and amazing in their own ways. They are the most inclusive, accepting, and welcoming place. Not only are the classes adjustable to your fitness level, but they keep you wanting more. Now that I've been a member for nearly 2 years, I can honestly say that it's been the most transformative gym I've ever belonged to. Join NOW, you...
Read moreGreat gym. They offer lots of classes at convenient times. Some classes are intense and some are less intense. But they have classes for everyone. From what I see, there are people of all ages. Young people in their 20s and people in their 50s and maybe 60s. The classes are coed with 60-70% women and 30-40% men. Some classes are focused more on the exercise part while others are more fundamentals and technique. But with all classes, you'll get a sweat and some technique too. They also have exercise equipment available for us whenever the gym is open. Some people may not like this comment but a few women do dress what I would argue is inappropriate. So if you're a man who is trying to avoid temptation or lust, be aware that you may encounter it more at this gym compared to another gym like the YMCA or...
