I live in Marble Falls and have gone to Blairs a few times and I was always happy with the service. The last time I went was not different, the girl helped me find some clothing and even picked stuff out for me. One of the item were some good quality cow girl boots. She said that I could come back and get them stretched free of charge incase they did not fit (they were $400). I went back today to get them stretched as they literally killed my feet the one time I wore them and they charged me $6.50 to do so, and left me with boots that now need polishing. I find this cheap. I mentioned at the front desk I bought those boots at Blairs 2 weeks ago, and this service should be included (along with re polishing them to look like new) i got this service with other boots I have purchased. Also one of the shirts I bought and wore once started to unwind and fall apart at the front of the neck. I really loved this shirt and wanted to keep wearing it. I brought it to get reviewed or looked at or anything. The front desk lady said Casy was the one who did that and that it. No time or date or anything, just she wouldn't look at it. I feel like this was a manufacture defect. Anyways due to this poor service with my brand new boots and shirt, I will not spend my money to Blairs again.
Hi Casy, I can't respond to what you said so I hope this will work. I will call and talk with you personally. But no, I did not buy the Dan Post boots, I have the receipt in front of me, they were $399. They were worn once and had no scuff marks on them, the marks are due to the stretching. Also, I told the lady checking me out to check my phone number, but she said that was not something she did. I had both my phone number and receipt there but she was unwilling to listen to me or help me out. I am sorry I...
Read moreI had bought Christmas gifts for my wife early December and asked before the purchase what’s there Christmas policy for exchanging gifts since they had a 30 day policy. I was told I would have 30 days from December 25th. I went with my wife to exchange some gifts within the 30days from December 25th and I was told I had passed the 30 days from the original purchase date. So I was lied to about there Christmas policy then the older manager allowed 2 of the 3 items to be exchanged at full price but the 3rd item the manager said they don’t have anymore of that product and would have to take a 25% cut on the price. So I asked the manager what the sales person told me there Christmas policy was 30 days from December 25th. The manager then implied they never did and that he doesn’t have to exchange my items because we were passed the original 30 days from the date of purchase in a very rude way. Manager asked if I still wanted to exchange the with the price cut on the one item which is $30 I lost on that item so I said yes. Which was still very irritating to me that I was lied to about there Christmas policy or else I would have made sure my wife had exchanged the items earlier in time. So I had told the manager thank you for the great customer service and the older gentleman turns around and said to my wife and I that he doesn’t have to exchange anything and we could leave the store. Bottom line they don’t have a Christmas return policy and the manager is a rude person to talk to. My wife and I will never never shop...
Read moreMy husband has spent over $1200 on work boots, work jeans & insulated jackets in the last 6 weeks so when I tried to return a pair of mens jeans that were to big (& yes I had pulled the tags off but had them & the receipt) I was confronted by a man who told me I washed the jeans, I explained to him that I Absolutely did not wash the jeans & that when I was ripping off the tags was when I realized that they were the wrong size. This man told me not to tell him that because the inside pockets were faded blue and I pulled several jeans off the shelf and they all had different stages of blue fading on the pockets also. This man was the most rude and disrespectful person I have ever encountered. I don't have to lie about a pair of $40 jeans and he could just forget it, customers in the store were watching by this time so he said "I will exchange them this one time and I will not ever do it again so you better pay attention". I told him to keep his jeans and not to do me any favors that I would donate them to Goodwill and he just lost a customer. So I left and went straight to Tractor Supply and mentioned what had just happened and they told me they were sorry and that store was not a reflection of the other businesses in Marble Falls and gave me 15% off the $478 I...
