I was fooled by all the cars I routinely see in the parking lot when I should have checked out the reviews. I have spent a lot of time in Baja CA and moved here after living in Southern CA for the past 40 years and I just cannot understand why the Mexican food in TX is so different.

When I walked in, I was told I could sit anywhere. It was lunch time so not too busy. I was greeted immediately with the traditional chips and salsa. The chips are warm and fresh... but they taste like they came out of a bag from the local supermarket. Clearly they do not make their own chips. The salsa was a good red sauce; could be a bit more spicier but I have yet to find any salsa that is hot.

Just to keep it simple, I ordered the two enchiladas with the crispy taco and I ordered them all with chicken. Unfortunately, this meal did not come with beans & rice. Never in my life have I ordered a traditional Mexican plate and it didn't include beans & rice.

It took a while to receive the meal which I never mind. I took that as a sign they were making this fresh and it was going to be amazing. But I was wrong; it certainly looked good but my first bite into the enchilada and I wanted to send it all back. The tortilla the enchilada came in tasted raw; no flavor and the chicken inside was horrible. I was actually concerned I might get sick later in the day. I do not know what or where they buy their chicken, but was the worst chicken I have ever tasted. I was horribly over cooked and chopped up into cubes. I've never had a chicken enchilada that was shredded chicken. I took one more bite and just stopped the enchiladas are that bad.

The crispy taco is also quite bad. The taco shell is so fragile, the first bite you take, the whole shell is going to fall apart. They are store bought taco shells instead of them deep frying corn tortillas themselves. I have no idea why they wouldn't just cook up their own taco shells that wouldn't crumble into a hundred pieces after one bite. And the crispy taco had the same overcooked, flavorless cubed chicken. The taco had a few shreds of lettuce, maybe two or three pieces of cheese and just a few pieces of diced tomato. But given how fragile the shells are, I can see why they don't stuff the taco shell like most other restaurants would do. I don't know what they cook their chicken in, but I am used to shredded chicken that has been cooking in rich spicy red sauce.

And as others have noted, yes, they charge a 3% charge for the credit card and then instead of letting me choose, the person at the checkout asked me how much to put down for a tip. And she did it while staring at me with a look that conveyed that I had BETTER leave a good tip. Talk about being intimidating!

I have no idea why this parking lot is full unless people are just parking there to use the other businesses. But you will be disappointed if you come here. If you have EVER had Mexican food at any Mexican restaurant in Southern CA, you would taste the difference in an instant. We do enjoy living here, but it's such as shame the Mexican food is such a...

I’m giving two stars based on the years of super taco that we loved and had great experience with. We have been frequenting super taco for years, sometimes we go a lot- sometimes we take some time off but it has always been great.

I am writing this review because I am shocked at the service we have received and how the quality of the food has decreased in just the last month we have visited.

We received a burrito with a hair in it- let it go out of respect for the business and we had ordered to go and didn’t have time to deal with it. The next week there was an hair in my husbands taco and an eye lash in mine.

The last time we were there we were going to talk to the server about it but she was incredibly unfriendly, got our drinks while rolling her eyes after we ordered them and when she came back… didn’t ask us if we were ready just looked at us.. I guess waiting for us to order? I felt so uncomfortable and unwanted we packed up our stuff to go after it came out. And did not leave a tip. We are both servers, I do not make that decision lightly, but I was so shocked at the disrespect. Considering the fact that they take an order and drop off the ticket once it’s delivered - don’t refill drinks unless you have to flag them down. I’ve never cared before and given them an equal tip I’d give to someone who fully serviced a table. But I won’t give my money that I work hard for to this business or its servers anymore.

I get sometimes you have a bad day. Me and my husband are really laid back and understanding. But … cleanliness, quality, and downright kindness keeps people Coming back and loyal. You...

Super taco has always been one of my staple restaurants for when I want good quality burritos. But this last time some one was sleeping on their job, my burrito( a Carne guisada, been, bacon and qaso) was either put into the foil wrapping upside down or wasn't secured very well because when I went to pick up my order three burritos and salsa I checked the bag had all three burritos and the salsa I could see that by eye so didn't put my hand off in the bag , well when I went to distribute the burritos something was all over everything I. The bag turns out is was the qaso leaking out of my burrito I went to open it up and it all just spilled out like no one had even attempted to try to secure the burrito it was a huge mess. That being said I would be remise to say this was an everyday thing it's not far from it I've been going to super taco since 2008 probably longer and have never Had something like this happen needless to say it's a good place and I will be...

This place has won just about every kind of award for Mexican food over the last 20yrs & once you here it's easy to see why : ) Thier always fresh salsa & chips to homemade GIANT tortillas, set the tone off just right ! I suggest the Mexian plate, so you can get a taste of several of the decadent dishes they offer .. you start out with a crispy taco, guacamole & queso tostada - then once you're properly enticed, they bring out the hot plate with an enchilada, rice & beans, homemade tamales (still in the shuck), & one of those hot tortillas to wipe up all that's left on your plate 😎 a must try when you're in Marble Falls !!

Busy busy busy staff, the food was good, customers are RUDE. I told the waitress B R E A T H and wasn't in a hurry. She thanked me several times for understanding. Then she came to the register and thanked me again. I was her kindest customer and really made her day. Wish I'd gotten her name. Be patient with employees at restaurants they're so overworked and underpaid!!!
