Congo Falls Adventure Golf — Attraction in Margate City

The outside of the course looks amazing and my kids, 4 and 6 were really excited to go. We went up to the counter and discovered it was $50+ for the 4 of us! Alright my husband and I thought, must be challenging. Nope! The holes were extremely basic with very minimal challenges. Most had a direct shot to the hole with no obstacles. (See Hole 9 below) My daughter did end up winning a free game, but there was no way we were going to pay a second round for the rest of us. We asked the cashier to give it to the next family that comes up. Whether or not she did, we don't know.

I along with my wife and 2 grandchildren have played this mini golf venue multiple times since it opened. My problem is not with the course itself but with the cost(s) and the way it is handled. To accompany two kids, ages 5&7 playing, adults are required to pay even if NOT playing and only keeping score and insuring the kids safe and behaved. There are no discount rates offered for veterans nor seniors. At the games conclusion we asked for hand sanitizer but there was non to be had. Ocean city mini golf will now be our family go to course even if it means driving, and associated parking costs. Congo Falls of Margate is a fun, scenic miniature golf course. Each hole is uniquely designed and has its own little challenge. The decor around the course fits well with a waterfall, fake trees, animatronic gorilla and more. The course is very well-maintained and has a pleasant atmosphere with music being played in the background. As much as I enjoyed this course, I think the Ocean City location is much better and more sophisticated. This is by no means a bad course, but the Ocean City Congo Falls is far superior and actually cheaper.
