Flamingo Beauty Spa — Attraction in Margate

I called asking if I could get my eyebrows waxed right now and I was told yes and to come in only to arrive to the door being locked. As I arrived to the plaza, I called again asking for directions to the salon ( Referring to myself as’ “the person who just called about getting my eyebrows waxed.”) and I was given clear directions on where to go. After knocking on a locked door A woman comes to the door and peaks her head out (not even letting me in) saying that she can’t do my eyebrows and asked if I wanted to come tomorrow morning. Not only is it unprofessional to tell someone to come for a service and then 15 minutes later say you can’t but it’s also a waste of my time to come out here to be told this. She could’ve called me back or simply told me when I originally called her that she wouldn’t be able to. After I replied to the question with , “No, that’s why I called asking to come in today.” I was told to go to a nail salon. Unprofessional, rude, inconsiderate, and make sure next time you call for an appointment that you’ll actually be able to be serviced before you waste your time...

Camilla the manager is great, it was my very first time and I got a facial and dermaplaning. It was so relaxing and soothing , I give her 5 stars!! Anna the eyebrow technician she was so sweet and nice and she did my eyebrows very well, she also gets 5 stars!! Unfortunately, I had a lash appointment a couple days before my birthday trip and when I arrived to my appointment on a Sunday, the lash tech never showed up so for that my rating is zero!!I do thank Brianna the front desk representative for apologizing , it’s unfortunate their wasn’t like a supervisor or maybe to have additional technicians as a backup if a tech didn’t show up, since the manager was away on vacation but because of this happening I don’t feel comfortable coming back to this facility anytime soon, when that situation happened with the lash tech not showing up ,I had to last minute find another place just to do my lashes and Thank God I was able to with such short notice!! This place has bad management. It look like it’s family own . Great ! However it looks like they work when they want to work . I been there 3 times . Today was supposed to be my 4th however they don’t answer .

The first time they removed my lashes . It got into my eye . She said you are red - spoke to a guy on the phone and said come back tomorrow. ( besides the mom was there and they were chatting the entire time )

3rd time ok . ( another girl was there , chatting etc ) no privacy at all. 4th :time I called a week before made an appointment in advance .(spoke to a guy ) and I show up at 12:15 and the place is closed . No call to cancel - nothing !
