Peppertree Plaza — Attraction in Margate

Speed limit should be 5mph not 20mph. Like most strip malls, the cars are parked in the center, and there is a road that runs along the entire perimeter. After parking or when done shopping, people have to cross this street on foot, obviously. The speed limit on places like this is always 5mph because there are pedestrians constantly crossing this road on foot and other cars coming in and out of the parking lanes. There are also many wide columns along the way that don’t allow drivers to see pedestrians approaching the road until they have one foot on the pavement, and these columns also don’t allow pedestrians to see if there is a car coming. The 20mph signs are everywhere and that is way too fast for a parking lot with this much traffic. Also, there should be a stop sign after entering through the “la bamba” entrance. There is a median in this section with many large plants and palm trees that make it impossible to see if a car is approaching. When you enter the lot, on the left is “its all greek” and on the right is La Bamba. There is a lot of traffic on this spot because 1) it is the main entrance, and 2) because if anyone who came in from the entrance next to “Cato” wants to go to La Bamba for example, they have to cross this main entrance road to reach la Bamba. And the cars that just entered the lot from the la Bamba entrance have no clear view of this other flow of traffic because the median and its massive plant arrangement is on the way, so they can’t see cars coming from the left until these are almost half way into their lane, which has no stop sign. I worked there for years, and witnessed many accidents. i even emailed the city of margate about these issues but...

Officemax Just has become a stand up Customer RIP off. I took an order in after 2pm they wanted to add 35% to my order to do the same job with the same machines, because I said I would wait. Even though there was no SIGN ABOUT THE 35% ADDITIONAL ADD ON TO MY JOB COST. THE PRINTING PRICE HAS ALREADY INCREASED. AND THEY STILL WANT MORE. THE manager when I questioned him was nice/nasty and said he doesn't have to post the additional fees. "Just be glad they are willing to do it for me" was his response. This is so not fair... Where does the extra 35% go? Who get it especially when the employee has NOT REALLY done any extra work... By the way it was 4pm so no overtime was needed. I was also told to use the self service machines but is have to break my order into 4 runs. Inconvenience Not EVEN CONSIDERED. RIP OFF with our eyes open😥 and GAS is to night for all this...

I've known Peppertree Plaza since I moved to Coconut Creek in 1995 there are some great stores there and not so great. Well now they have Planet Fitness which is wonderful Sam Ash is a staple for all musicians there is a good Barber there is a good Thai restaurant a good little greek place a fabulous pizza place called La Pizzeria a very good nail place called Lovely Nails a teachers Paradise called Ace clothing store called Cato for ladies which is very nice a bagel Delicatessen which is very good the same as it was 20 years ago and a beautiful Winn-Dixie oh yeah and then there is a foot spa I won't say...
