I have been obsessed with the Piccolo Bacio line. I saw a few pieces online and was trying to find a place near me to purchase my son's Baptism outfit. When I found Small World Kids, I immediately fell in love. I walked over to the outfits and there is was, on the hanger, Piccolo Bacio. Wendy and Mike (Owners) were both there that day. It's very easy to feel like family because they truly are amazing human beings, along with their staff. When I told Wendy how obsessed I was with the designer, she said "Oh Jo would love to hear that, let me call her and I'll let you talk to her!" My heart dropped. Sure enough, Wendy got her on the phone and I just gushed over her designs. It was extremely important to me that my son's outfit have Italian roots, and Wendy made that possible! I've bought other things there as well. The girls who work there are the sweetest and Wendy takes very good care of her people. Anything you want, she makes it happen. She has been there through the entire process, especially since I'm a first time mommy. Ultimately, as mother's we all want the best for our babies. Such a disappointing experience. We were told my daughters custom dress would be in well before her communion date. I made countless phone calls to this place with no response or answer only for it to finally be in 2 days before her communion. The only two times I was called was when Mike told me 3 days before that the dress was not in and 2 days before to call me out on my truthful/frustrated instagram story post which was completely unprofessional! What made matters worse was Wendy completely not listening to me, making zero eye contact as I’m telling her my about my experience and then tells that I’m “shouting” at her.
