The Buffet Way — Attraction in Marlborough

My daughter got married yesterday in Boston and Buffet Way was our caterer. From start to finish it was perfection and delicious. Once we decided to have Dan do the catering he was professional, helpful and as nice as can be. He came to the Yacht Club where the reception was being held a couple of months before the wedding to make a dry run and to check out the seating area, dance area and most of all kitchen area. He wrote everything out on paper even to suggesting were the tables should be placed. He was very helpful with menu choices and let me tell you...not many could ever top the quality or presentation of his cooking. Because it was going to be a long wedding reception for later in the evening we ordered (2) 6 ft. sub sandwiches with chips, they were excellent, everybody raved about how good all the food was. Buffet Way catered our wedding and did an absolutely fabulous job! When I reached out to companies for catering, Dan called me back right away and was both incredibly helpful in putting together a quote and very calming (something I needed!). He had great ideas of how to make the day what we imagined while never pushing anything on us we didn't want or need. Being wedding novices, we still ended up needing things we thought we wouldn't and he was so patient and accommodating with adjusting the order as we got closer. Throughout the whole process he was great with communication. When we went for a tasting, Dan himself was there to serve us and he had great recommendations for other vendors in the area. The food was perfect--we did pulled pork sliders, tri tip, and chicken teriyaki with a bunch of sides and hot appetizers (the cornbread is particularly amazing). Simply put - a fantastic experience. Dan and his crew catered a spring sports banquet for about 170 people and did a wonderful job. They were on-time, set up without a hitch and served everyone in about 35 minutes. The salads were all made fresh, the chicken moist and flavorful and the cheeseburgers were a massive hit. Our concerns about allergies and gluten were easily addressed and managed. More importantly, the student athletes raved about the food and the consensus from the families was that it was one of the best school sports banquets in recent memory. Dan and his team were so easy to communicate with, flexible on food offerings and responsive to every question and concern.
