I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say, the experience was wonderful. The highlight for me was definitely the pho. It was pretty good, striking the perfect balance in flavors. What stood out were the noodles - they were chewier and thinner compared to others, enhancing the overall texture of the dish. Another dish that impressed me was the Banh Mi, the Vietnamese sub. The bread was nicely crisp, and the combination of a little spice with the crunchy vegetables made each bite a delightful experience. It's not often you find such a harmonious blend of textures and flavors in a sandwich. The fresh spring rolls were also a treat. Unlike the usual offerings at other places, these had shrimp that were seasoned and grilled to perfection, which I absolutely loved. It's these small touches that elevate a dish from good to great. Lastly, the Cream Brûlée Tiger Boba was an interesting fusion of flavors. It was good, but a bit on the sweeter side for my taste. However, if you have a sweet tooth, this would be a perfect choice. Overall, the food here is a testament to the culinary skills of the chef. Each dish was prepared with care and presented beautifully. For anyone who enjoys Vietnamese cuisine, this place is a must-visit. I'm already looking forward to my next meal here!

Yeah, it's one of those places where you stand to order, yet they flip the tablet around expecting a tip. And you have to get up to get your food anyway. I roamed every inch of the store to try and find a napkin, ect.; but there are zero utensils, condiments, ect. You just get your pork (smaller portion IMO) not thoroughly cut up, and the one fork, requiring you to rip it appart like a barbarian. Also included with my tip: they forgot my milk tea. I only ordered two things, and they were not busy! I waited forever (fine), yet the food was luke warm (not fine). The whole time I was there, all I could think about was getting the F out and never coming back. The layout and processes are incredibly confusing. There are three different walls with three different menus, the most important one (lunch specials) being literally behind you when you enter the store. So unless you turn around first thing upon entry, you will pay through the nose unnecessarily over lunch, like I did. I was excited to see these food offerings in this part of town, but at two stars, there was little that could have disappointed me more. Despite the small pork portions, the curry taste was fine, and the curry portion, rice portion, and salad were acceptable

I wish they have a location in Boston area… The food and the service here is a 💯! My review for what I ordered: Beef pho (5/5) Spring roll (2/5) [i wish they have peanut butter instead of fish sauce for this dish] Crème brûlée milk tea (5/5) Salt ice coffee (3/5) I’m 100% Vietnamese and this place gives me a feeling of being back in my country. Normally when I eat at Vietnamese restaurants in downtown Boston, I always feel uncomfortable after eating because of some substances in the bowl of pho. I had a different experience at this restaurant. I'm sure the owner of the restaurant has gone to great lengths to cook the broth to have such a great pho broth. I think if I want to eat pho I will have to drive 1 hour to eat here :( So that’s why I hope the restaurant can open more in boston area!

5 stars for food and bubble tea. 👍

But 2 stars for everything else:

#1 complaint: Everything on their menu is VERY expensive / overpriced, especially if you get any add ons.

They only have one size for their pho noodle soup, and they don't give you much soup to begin with, but if you want more, you can pay for it.

Most restaurants only charge $2 or $3 more for an extra large size vs. a regular size.

Here, if you add on extra soup and noodles, it's $6 more!!!!

And if you add meatballs, it's $10 more!!!!

They charge an arm and a leg for every little extra item - they charge for extra packets of Sriracha, extra peanut sauce, etc.

#2 complaint: The service is a bit slow - took about 20 minutes for our order, even though there was only one other group in the restaurant.

They also forgot to actually include the extra soup that I added / paid for. If I hadn't noticed and mentioned anything, I would have basically been cheated out of this.

And for some reason, they always have a large section of their restaurant roped off with a sign that says "reserved", but each time we've been here, that section never actually gets used by anyone. So you're forced to sit at the few open tables that are left.

Also, one of the tables we sat at was a bit dirty, no one had wiped it off, even though there were very few other customers inside.

#3 complaint: While we were there, a woman and her young kid came into the restaurant. It looked like they were the wife / child of the owner. It was a bit disturbing because the child just ran straight into the kitchen area unsupervised - seemed like a sanitary / safety concern.

The owner also immediately served them food, even though there were a few customers who had ordered before them, including us.

This place has good food, but it's very $$$$, and the service could be better. The only reason we went back is because they're the only place near this...
