I was in Mars, PA and discovered a “UFO” in the middle of the town. I was told that it was constructed from two oil tanks weighing 3,000 pounds. When you tap on the exterior it has a metal sound. It’s painted battleship gray & reminded me of the classic 1950’s Flying Saucer. I also love how the entire town embraces its name. There were flying saucers on everything, business signs, trash receptacles, flags etc. the UFO is also extremely robust, it’s built like a Russian tank, which makes it very difficult to steal. I also like how it’s in a little park where you can take pictures & spend sometime inspecting it. I will definitely return in the future to see this...
Read moreI'm posting more about the coffee shop. We stopped later in the day and the gentleman working went out of his way to make a fresh pot just so our coffee would be good. This speaks volumes about the type of service you get here. Aiming to please, attention to detail, and informative about local events. It was an unexpected stop, yet a great experience from the moment i stepped foot on the property walking up past the decorations, garden plants, etc.. til I walked back with my coffee. Thank you very much and I will go out of my way to stop by any time I'm in the area. I especially hope to catch them when they have the live music/entertainment. Great...

Stopped by the brew house next door got a hot chocolate (Delicious!!) in a cute Mars tumbler. If you have questions like does Mars have candy bars? I'm sure they do at the gas station a block away.
