Fun lowkey evening out. Very clean, brightly lit, all original from the 50s. A true, classic bowling alley with legacy lanes, interiors, seating, etc. Shoes were in great condition, not grungy at all. No bright neon lights, digital scoring, alcohol, or loud music here. We went for an impromptu night out with two 14 year olds, was alot of fun. Owner was there and offered to hang with us and teach the kids how to score, and she shared alot of the history of the alley including some fun info about the movies that have been filmed here. Do note that it’s an old-style alley, so scoring is manual—but that added to the charm for us. The staff were very helpful. Looks like it did in 1960, except for the modern sweeps and synthetic lanes (still wood approaches), AMF 82-30 pinsetters (the first automatic pinsetter), lane level ball returns, and paper score sheets.
