10/30/2020 around 5-6pm. First and last time I’ll be going here to eat. I was excited to go because we always pass the location ,but never stop! I called ahead to see if there was a wait time or open tables. I was told that they don’t take reservations which was fine, I just wanted to make sure that we could be seated before coming in.
Upon arrival I was asked if I had a reservation (Do they take reservations or not?). They had seating in the bar area or you have to wait 20 minutes. Not an issue. We were sat near an extremely loud table of people. On top of that we ordered crab dip that never came. I asked for no radish or olives in my salad. My salad came with both. When I told the waitress she offered to remake my food, which I declined. Didn’t even knowledge the missing crab dip situation. After letting her know she avoided our table the rest of the night. Waited/ cleaned the table next to us and waited on the new table twice before finally getting our check to cash out.
Service was overall very slow and poor. On Fridays they may consider having someone help behind the bar with drinks instead of the waitress making all the drinks individually. Seemed like a lot of people hanging behind the bar who work there so I know they aren’t under staffed. There was plenty of people socializing and hanging around.
Food was average at best and definitely not worth the cost. It wasn’t bad ,but I can’t really say it was even good either, maybe fair?
The service here was very poor. The amount of time it took to get everything. A whole appetizer never brought out. The food being made incorrectly after I confirmed with her twice.
Not only am I going to recommend you do not waste your time here or money ,but I am also going to provide you with places to try so you don’t waste your time like I did-Bridge Town Tap House in Ambridge, Mario’s Dockside or 1810 Tavern in...
Read moreWe eat here often enough to know that the quality of what is being served is slipping. This in no way is a reflection of the bartenders Mark and Frank. They are wonderful. The servers are also very good. The food lately is disappointing. Last month I was served overcooked lamb when I asked for medium. This turned into a big disaster with multiple foods being returned. Last night I asked for medium for my filet. It was so rare it leaked blood and my risotto turned pink. The meat was sent back but by the time it returned my lobster had been eaten. The filet was returned black and crispy. They took the steak off of the bill. They did not bring the butter with our lobster so we had to wait. By the time it came my lobster was eaten. My son’s lobster was served a little cool. My daughter’s filet was rare and she asked for medium. She ate what she could of it. When something is wrong a manager should visit the table. Not here. Nope. We are never offered anything to make us happy. Our bill was 342$ for 3 people and that is not uncommon when we dine there. They also redid their dessert menu which is a shame. That had an amazing dessert menu. We had a berry dessert last night that was not good. Burnt berries covered in granola (I think couldn’t tell it was so burnt) and ice cream. It was not good. I like to support local. I have been putting off posting this. This is just two examples. I have been disappointed so many times this past year. The place is no longer consistent. It’s hit or miss when you dine there. I hope they make...
Read moreIncredible! I’ve been here for lunch with my girls club a few times and I’ve raved about this place so much that my hubby wanted to go for Fathers Day. We went on Saturday. The vibe inside is industrial. The size of the place is deceiving, theres tons of seating inside and out. They also take reservations. The bar area is large too. We started with drinks, my son and husband ordered long Islands, they were so strong they each only had one, lol. They have a really good sized menu. Appetizers were roasted brussel sprouts w/ garlic aioli, it was very good, but the seared scallops are absolutely what I will always start out with. It is topped with a good amount of this cajun cream and we had quite a bit left when finished and the waitress popped over with warm sourdough bread to “mop” up the sauce. There was not a trace left on that plate. Mouth watering is the best description I can give and its not spicy, just full of flavor and seared perfectly. The beet salad with goat cheese was just lovey. I ordered a Mushroom Burger cooked medium. It was crazy juicy. My husband ordered the Blackened Mahi, he said it was excellent. The dish of the night belonged to the Rack of Lamb, it was cooked medium rare and was literally the most tender piece of meat I’ve ever eaten. It was paired with mushroom risotto, cooked perfectly, very creamy and had great mushroom flavor. Staff was super friendly, the restaurant and facilities were very clean. This is definitely “our place” now. I really can’t wait...
