I went to Mills Fleet Farm on Saturday, September 21st, 2019 at 10:30am. The bathrooms were in clean, working condition and the outside grounds were fairly clean for a large parking lot. I needed a hunting license and deer tag so I managed my way to the Sporting Goods area. I was able to buy my tag without an issue and the store associate was very helpful in that area. With that said, I bought a brick of 555 .22 shells for “$7.99” and they rang up for “$27.99” at the register. I showed the store associate where they were on the shelf and it turns out that all of the bricks were in the wrong place. Fleet Farm did not stand behind the mislabeling and I returned the merchandise and got my money back. Their mistake, not mine. They should have stood behind the price.

I only really go here to buy Duke Cannon soap and shampoo. But I tell ya, I sure wish these Mills Fleet Farm's would have some continuity between the stores. The one that new in Wisconsin is exactly the same as this one in Mason City Iowa and nothing is arranged the same or in the same layout as the other store. For gawds sakes I got more to do than wander around for half hour looking for that soap rack. And no one works at these places anymore either. But I did find it and I high recommend this soap and shampoo. It's a tad pricey but the bars are 3 times the size of regular soap bars and they last me 2-3 months for $6.99 a bar.

I've gone all over North Iowa to buy flowers this year and this is definitely been one of the best stops. I also have been there through the pandemic as they've been very understanding about those who can't wear masks. They see it as a choice. It's also a great place for any outdoor sporting goods. We go here for all our water sports, fishing, airsoft guns, etc. The surprising part, for those of you who don't know, it's actually a great place for clothing, shoes, and pet food / necessities.

I have shopped in Fleet Farm since it has opened and have always had a great experience until today. I have always told people that the customer is always right. Especially when it comes to service. Today the Management at Fleet Farm In Mason City Iowa proved to me that I was WRONG. I wanted to purchase something and pick it up on Sunday. They would not allow me to do that since it is a holiday weekend and Black Friday is among us. I dont care about black Friday and if the item I want to purchase is already paid for then it should not be a big deal. They claim they cant control someone not reselling it. I find that almost impossible to believe with the security they have in their store. This is not a small ticket Item. Its heavy and expensive. I need to get a trailer and truck lined up. Looks like it must be time to look at their competitors again. Maybe they will be happy to take my business and my money. I dont have to shop there. The weekly trips to Fleet Farm will have to be spent at another store. I heat that Theisans in Ames is good and I have to drive about the same Distance. Oh Yeah, Tractor Supply is just up the street too. You really want me to Rate your service. I would not give it one star but you dont allow me to rate it lower than that. Guess the customer doesnt get to decide that either. The one good thing about the entire Experience was that Bob in the building supply area did his job and very well I might add. Maybe the mngmt. might want to learn a...

Everytime I walk into the Fleet Farm in town it is comparable to how a winner of Willy Wonka's tour would feel. I always head straight for the firearms and begin to daydream. They've got a good selection and plenty of accessories to go with them. A lot of my time is spent over in that side of store since that's where all the fun sporting goods items are ie. Crossbows, fishing poles, bicycles, discs for disc golf, the list can go on. The other time I spend there is in their candy section. Racks filled with various types of all kinds of candy, nuts, etc. When the Pandemic of 2020 came around I had to drop in quality for my cats food due to everywhere being out, I wound up coming into Fleet Farm and bought a Veterinarian recommended brand. A couple days later I'm at the vet and tell them what kind, they were elated. Thank you Fleet Farm for having that particular kind. My only negative comes from never having the amount of money I'd desire to spend...

If I had a choice of giving zero stars I would. I have tried ordering trailer tires and rims through this fleet farm twice now. The first time they claimed I had to talk to someone who wasn't there and mind you this was at 1 pm in the afternoon. I gave them my phone number so I could receive a call when the person was working. Got a call, but no message. Called back to be transfered and hung up on twice. Received a call again this morning telling me they had in tires and rims I had ordered. I thought wow, never talked to the guy but he must have ordered what I asked. Drove 30 minutes to town to pick them up, just to be told they didn't have the tires or rims, and had no idea who called me saying they did? The worker that was helping me tried getting a managers help, but after ten minutes of waiting I decided enough was enough and left. I won't be spending any money here anymore. Too many other...
