Maui Airport Taxi-Shuttle — Attraction in Maui

Poor customer service! We arrived to OGG airport at 10pm and patiently waited in the designated area for a taxi. It appeared that all taxi drivers were in high demand yet picking up customers as quickly as possible. As soon as we got into our taxi he asked where we were headed. He was unfamiliar with our destination so he got upset and said “google it,” which we did. He drove incredibly fast and continued to raise his voice at us as we provided him with directions. We are tourists, obviously we were not familiar with the pronunciation of streets. He had no patience and poor communication skills. To some extent, I empathized with the man, wondering how stressful his job must be. He was in constant communication with someone over a radio so I knew he was under stress, and possibly timed. My wife and I made the trip from Hawaii after having our honeymoon initially postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. While we went to Maui just recently, and going through the proper procedures as set forth by the state of Hawaii (rapid testing 72 hours prior to departure, etc.), we use this service 4x during our stay. 3 of the 4 times were excellent; William (owner) and Drayton were professional, courteous, and safe. I am unable to remember the name of the third driver who was solid, but initially this was given a three star rating in lieu of a five star is due to one driver in general, but it was one of the most unpleasant experiences we've ever had.*

*However, this was addressed by the staff and the review had been modified . I would recommend this company fully as they show they will listen to concerns as well as being clean and spacious inside...

Maui airport shuttle picked us up from the airport and took us to our hotel. That part was great. Super nice driver and supporting this company is fully supporting a local small business. I feel really bad to leave them a one star, but we lined them up for a return to the airport and they were a no-show. It was an early morning flight, and they just never came for us, never called, wouldn’t pick up when we called (repeatedly) to see if they were coming, never reached out later for explanation or apology. No uber was available that early and took us about 45 minutes to solve the problem, which meant we arrived at the airport too late. Definitely use this company to catch a ride to your hotel, but unfortunately they cannot be relied on for returns when you don’t have time or flexibility to...
