Candeeland — Attraction in McAllen

I find it highly unsettling for an individual, not visibly identified as an employee, to approach my son, inquire about his age, and effectively corner him. A more appropriate approach would be to discreetly inquire with nearby parents to establish the child's identity and then engage with the parent directly. Furthermore, upon reporting this incident to an employee, I was informed that the individual in question was indeed a staff member, tasked with verifying children's ages to ensure they are accessing age-appropriate areas. I find this justification to be both dismissive and concerning, as it disregards parental boundaries and raises questions about the establishment's approach to child safety and communication. As a parent, I deem this experience to be alarming and unacceptable, particularly given the distress it caused my 4 year old child, who was fortunately intervened on by my adult son. I had such a wonderful experience at Candeeland Playground in McAllen, TX! The place is super clean, safe, and full of fun activities that kept the kids entertained for hours. The atmosphere is colorful and welcoming, and it’s the perfect spot for families to relax while the little ones play.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to Victoria at the front desk. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful from the moment we walked in. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made the whole visit feel extra special. Customer service like hers makes a big difference—she’s truly the best!

Disappointing. Not worth your money. Bathrooms not working they tell you , you can leave to mall use bathroom and come back. They let adults into the play area with kids. This is great but at the same time you have older adults (parents) trying to move around in the play ball tables , if they fall on your kid , the place made you sign a waiver they are not responsible for accidents. Imagine a 150 pound adult falling on a toddler. I truly believe adults should not be allowed to be in with kids in the play area.
