McKinney Skate Park — Attraction in McKinney

Great park but unfortunately is utilized as a playground. There are unsupervised children on scooters everywhere with no park etiquette or awareness of their surroundings. This is very dangerous for the kids and skaters alike. A professionally built skatepark is not a safe place to let little kids run around. Skaters of all ages are encouraged to learn how to skate, but remember it can be a dangerous activity, and you need to learn how to skate and use the park in a manner that everyone can skate and have a good time. Scooters should be banned as they are a toy and a danger to skaters. There's nothing scarier than coming down a ramp at top speed to have a kid on a scooter stop right in front of you, nobody wants to see a kid get hurt so to avoid collisions we end up hurting ourselves most of the time. Drove 2 1/2 hours To get here very nice park they are building a big kids park behind the skatepark soon hopefully some restrooms because you have to go across the street to the baseball fields and the restrooms are nasty but back to the park they have a lil of everything to skate I only thing I didn’t like is the young kids who hag out there(when I came at least)we’re a bit annoying they skated as well but trying to impress the homies and be so kool makes the vibe suck I ended up skating a different part of the park which I really enjoyed in to me was the best part and No was skating it..but everybody there I talk to was really koo tho but the main part gets a little busy at times it seems but at the end of the day that’s pretty much every park I really enjoy the city and park Coming back in a few weeks but a lil Prepared because I randomly...
