We had a wonderful visit to the Trees of Christmas event at the Baldwin Reynolds House. Every room was thoughtfully decorated and curated by a knowledgeable and friendly docent. We go to the Baldwin-Reynolds House Museum every year for the Historical Society Fezziwig's Christmas Dinner. It's so much fun. You have the opportunity to meet wonderful people and enjoy great food in a historic building and holiday atmosphere. The historical society dresses up as characters from Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol. They serve you food and drinks. A dinner (the dinner changes each year) with bread pudding as the dessert. Plus, you can have wine, coffee, cocoa, water, and sometimes tea. They do this one weekend a year...

The house is beautiful sporting original architecture and state-of-the-art (for the time) updates, such as, built in gas lighting and indoor heating and cooling. The property has its own water house as well as an antique doctor's office. My favorite is the balcony the wraps around the entire house, what a view! Don't miss it! The ladies who keep it running are so knowledgeable, they can tell you about every room and it's original furniture and art which you will find still in place...
