Rossetter House Museum Office — Attraction in Melbourne

The place is beautiful, I've had my eye on this place for months to check out for my wedding and I finally found the time to check it out with my wedding planner. We went there on a Wednesday which you claim to be open on that day and we got there 20 minutes early before you opened at 11am. Once it was time for y'all to open no one was there , I even waited 20 minutes after y'all opened and still no one showed up. I called 5 times and it went straight to voicemail every time, I left messages with my name and phone number. It was really upsetting for a bride (me) to experience that because I now don't wanna have my wedding there. If y'all aren't gonna be on time and answer the phone then that right there is just making y'all look bad. I'm so upset that this happened. I even called a week in advance to make sure I didn't have to make a reservation to tour the place and the lady said no I didn't have to I could just walk right in. Really bad customer service. I wasted my gas...

Not much Southern Hospitality here. The house is beautiful on the outside & the outside plaque is informative. We arrived at 11:20 & told they would have room for us at 12. We were not offered to wait in office or gift shop. As we walked through the garden to wait a tour was being given & we lingered to listen. (There were only 3 people in the group who were friendly) We were politely shooed away by the guide, someone different than the lady in the office. They just don’t seem welcoming or eager or to share this beautiful home with visitors. The volunteers doing work in the yard were much friendlier & more welcoming than the woman...

This is a hidden gem. Great for visitors or long time residence of Brevard. They share a bit of the history in Eau Gallie along with the story of the Rosetters (the powerful sisters where the last residence of this beautifully crafted home).
