I was recently here for a wedding. After the ceremony at the chapel in the woods some shuttles brought us over to the exhibition center for the cocktail hour and reception. We arrived and the shuttles left, but the doors were locked and no one (employees) was around. When we were able to get in , we were told the bar was cash only but there was no ATM at the center. Rather than no one have drinks at the cocktail hour , a few grooms men's went back on foot across the road to the Graceland Guesthouse to find an ATM and use their own money to pay the bill for the entire bar. During dinner an entire table was missing forcing some guests to stand while they ate . If that wasn't enough, after the dinner was served the bride and grooms were told to leave the venue much earlier than the time they had paid for so we were rushed out shortly after dinner and a few toasts. The shuttle also left early leaving many guests stranded at the exhibition center with no vehicle. The wedding party including the bride and groom had to make multiple trips in their personal vehicles back and forth to the guest house to get all of their guests back to their cars. This venue is unprepared and I does not look out for their guests. Do NOT have your wedding or other important...
Read moreHonestly, I expected it to be one of those experiences where it doesn't really hold up to what is said online. However, as you may be expecting me to say, the experience was lovely. The food is slightly limited but I didn't get to explore much of that portion as I spent nearly an hour and a half inside the exhibition; therefore, I dont have much say in the food field. The pictures and music clash together smoothly and add to the experience. I would like to experience this once more sometime in the future. I would love to sit and rest on the floor watching the exhibit. It was so calm and relaxing but still intricate and mind engaging enough to keep me from being bored. It will leave kids and people who are seeing this for the first time awestruck and will certainly become a very fun memory to revisit. Aside from that, I will warn that it gets crowdy in there so try and bring a friend along if you go, if not, like I did, it is still enjoyable as you aren't really questioned if you spend hours laying down on the floor and watching the wall with absolutely no thought in your eyes(yes that was me). Hope this helps some who are still debating if coming here will be a good...
Read moreGreat facility, lots of memorabilia. They closed early when we were there, and the staff kept giving us misinformation. "Is open until 6" - no, they closed at 4. "The restaurants are open until 5:30 to use your food vouchers" no, they closed at 4. "Oh we closed early but the other restaurant is open" Nope, it was closed too. Had to fight to get a to- go dessert since we could not use our vouchers. "The shuttle runs until 6pm" nope. We were left stranded at 5:30. Had to call the hotel who Sent the shuttle to get us. Their internal communications stunk. Nobody knew the true story and everyone gave us misinformation. But the exhibits and shops were great and the tour guides were great. Worth the money for the vip tours, but get there early and get your food early and bring...
