Piccadilly — Restaurant in Memphis

First I would like to give them a Zero because this Picadilly is very Unprofessional, in the carry out part, they are always on there cellphone and then the employees are talking amongst themselves and just leave the customers just waiting to be served and on the other side the employees that serve the food they just throw your food on your plate, they have negative attitudes all the time, I think they need to get a totally new staff who really wants to work and knows how to treat the customers after all if you do not have customers the business would not succeed I say treat the customers like you want to be treated. As for the carry out you are at Work put the cellphones away then you could probably focus more on your job and customers.

On today 5-31-2024 at 5:55 p.m. I stopped at the Picadilly on Elvis Presley Blvd, I got 2 to go plates for $29.69 and my money should be refunded, I say that because the service I got was terrible - VERY UNPROFESSIONAL as a manager - his name was Gibson, I got lima beans, Yams, and chopped steak, I asked the new server to remove the lima beans from the to go plate because it was a lot of juice and about a teaspoon of beans, instead of giving me a clean to go plate they just took the lima beans out and left the juice off the beans in the plate so I just asked for a side order of greens. Gibson in case you don't know that is and was "NASTY" since you asked me what I want I wanted a clean plate. This location is not like they used to be, they have a lot of attitudes and no good customer service at all, even the employee at the register said Gibson is not a good manager. I thought I was going to get stabbed with a fork. This place is like school cafeteria. You grab a tray and you walk through this line. It was a long line and wait. We visited yesterday, Thursday. They have a 1.99 special for kids 1 piece entree (we picked chicken tender) with 2 sides and 1 dessert. The 4 of us ordered our own. We went through a line that seemed like a hundred years (No joke but stayed for lack of options and we were hungry). We were almost to the end to pay when a very rude person that serves the portion stopped us because they gave the kids portion an adult portion instead. I would have paid 5x for it but this lady was so rude and mean that I thought she was going to stab me with a fork if I dont give back the adult portion of the Mac N Cheese. I gave it back. Mind you that these ladies were the one serving you in the first place. An adult is this one big scoop and kids are half the spoon. Like really? It was the most awful experience ever. The food is good though. Just be prepared to be served by the meanest old ladies ever! I DO NOT RECOMMEND JUST BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL and Honestly the place is so old and dirty. One of my friends mentioned to me about this location in Memphis Tennessee , last year 15 people in their party from Houston, TX were staying in Hotel 🏨 30 minutes away one of the employee that work at the 🏨 they was totally surprised because in Houston,Texas the chain of Piccadilly's was all closed in the 90th over 30 years ago, I walked down 👇👎 memory Lane today I enjoy every bit of the moment my brother his wife and I, the place has so many great memories in our life 🧬 time over the years in Texas, tomorrow is my birthday 🥳🎂 I will most definitely visit this location again for on such a special day in my life 💖🧬, I call my friend I had let him know I finally got a opportunity to visit this business establishment before I leave Memphis, Tennessee couple of employee who work on line was not so professional and polite but nevertheless the cashier and server was very professional and polite , I can't emphasize how much I was so pleased to walk through this business establishment once again 🙏💞 in my lifetime after 30 years straight but in another city and state wonderful memories I will 🚫 never forget 💯.
