Hong Kong Restaurant — Restaurant in Memphis

Speaking as a visitor to Graceland recently, I tried my hand at some restaurants near Graceland. Saw this restaurant, and gave it a whack for some late night dinner.

The atmosphere brings in much more than what you initially see, so don't get turned off easily. Now the great part here is the value for food. You will definitely get a real load of bang for your buck here, adding to the fact that the food tastes great! Tried the Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Beef Broccoli, and BBQ Pork w/ Almond (something along those lines). Real great food, not the best, but at these prices, I really can't complain.

Service was spot on! Though I was the only one dining in. A lot of take out/pickup orders though while I was eating. A word of advice though, if you plan to spend late night dinner dining in here (towards closing time), be aware that they start cleaning up the place 30-40 mins before closing time so it might get a little noisy. You have been sitting up shop in our neighborhood for years and we support you religiously. But want us to continue to continue support you. You must do right by us. If you didn't have what I ask for just say you didn't have it. That kinda serves make for bad business. These bad reviews will get you run out of some neighborhood. Just do the right thing by folks that support your business, many have supported you in the past and now. I placed an order in advance...I was told it would be 30 min I got there in 35. Long line inside so long it wrapped in a circle. I go to counter says I'm #28 here to pick up my order is it ready? Man says get in long line. Made absolutely no sense when there where orders READY on the counter but most of the people in line were placing orders & being told they have a 30 min wait after paying. There was well over 10 people in line & last I checked that's against the rules! I'm not about to get sick waiting in line for food I told them they need a better process & left my $35 order.
