Love love love loved it...! Best experience ever..I had astc card and it was free and though u don't have membership,it is not at all expensive..! MUST VISIT WHO HAVE INTERESTS IN STARS AND PLANETS.. I have many queries regarding Planets,Sun etc and the guide there answered all my questions, explained sooo well.. Side by side u can see WEIS EARTH SCIENCE MUSEUM..it is also free for everyone..and the guides there are awesome..the way they explain is beyond appreciation..! I will visit again and again..! Posting some pictures of WEIS EARTH AND SCIENCE MUSEUM.

This university has been the site of astronomical observation and education for decades. The small sliver dome has been in operation at least 5 decades. It is sure great that this institution is a part of the UW Wisconsin college system. It is also now home to Attic theater which too has a decades long existence in the fox valley ...kudos to all who have developed and maintained these remarkable institutions.

For those looking for clarification about the hours of operation: the 6-9:45 hours are for Sept.-Jan. when the Barlow has the laser system in. Experiences at the Barlow have always been good ones. I've invited younger and older siblings as well as my parents and grandparents and all have said that they had a great time. I also recommend paying a visit to the Weis museum if you happen to have extra time.

Very interesting and certainly worth the price of admission. I saw the "More than Meets the Eye" show and while maybe a little dated, it was still fun and educational; coupled with the end light show, a fun "trip". The presenter Ty is obviously passionate, knowledgeable, and entertaining (seriously, it would be worth 100x the price of admission to just listen to this guy lecture for a few sessions). I recently moved to the area, and I look forward to seeing a lot of shows there. I'm hoping post-Covid, money can be raised/donated/invested to upgrade some of the technology (not a jab at the current limitations of their system at all; just there are improvements available in the market).

My one gripe, with the facilities (and the only reason I mention it is not to assign blame, cause a ruckus, or Covid-hysteria, but simply I believe to be a quick fix), is just that the men's restroom (cannot speak for the women's) was covered in mold. Seriously almost every metal surface is covered in a near millimeter thick film of mold (maybe a slight exaggeration, but only just). A possible oversight being that most (but not all (and surprisingly not the sinks)) surfaces are sensor triggered. I would've taken pictures, but . . . it's a bathroom after all . . . 15-20 minutes with some bleach and some paper...

I went to the Dark Side of the Moon laser show. How did I never know this existed??!! For less than the price of a movie I had an amazing time.

They’ve got a few different laser shows, and star shows as well. We were late but the person running it made sure we got in.

I’m definitely going back, I’m taking my kids, I’m telling my brother, I’m telling everyone! I think everyone should check this out, cuz it’s different than a field trip and you’ll have an...
