Bartz's The Party Store — Attraction in Menomonee Falls

I generally suggest shopping at locally-owned establishments, but not this one. First: false advertising on their website. They reference 4 stores on numerous pages but they only have 1. (Their other stores closed in the fall of last year.) Time to finally update their website with correct information. Second: They treat their employees very poorly. My mother worked for them for nearly 20 years. Owner is regularly disrespectful to employees. Recent example - my 70 year old mother and another woman stayed to help him close one of his stores. Owner had them load all of the heavy boxes while he stood and watched( did very little himself). Told them that he didn't have to work because he was the owner. (What self-respecting man sits back and watches a 70 year old woman load all of the heavy boxes and doesn't help?) After they were done packing up the closing store, owner then offered my mother (who was a cashier) a temporary job at his warehouse cleaning his filthy desk and windows in his personal office. I would guess that he's just using his last store to sell off all of the old product in his warehouse from the three other stores that he closed. I suggest doing your party supplies shopping at one of the many other retail stores...

THE YOUNG LADY WHO ANSWERED MY CALLS (PLURAL) WAS HELPFUL EVERYTIME WHEN I TOLD HER I HADN'T RECEIVED ANY NOTICE, UPDATE, IN ANY FORM WHATSOEVER FROM THEM, IN WEEKS ABOUT MY ORDER, SHE SAID IT WAS THE WAREHOUSE/DISPATCH NOT THE STORE ITSELF WHICH ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPPING, BUT DUE TO THE UNPROFESSIONALLY GROSS WAY OF THEIR LACK IN COMMUNICATION THE LADY APOLOGIZED FOR THE INCONVENIENCE, AS FOR FINALLY RECEIVING MY ITEM, MASK FROM WIZARD OF OZ (FLYING MONKEY) IT WAS PATHETICALLY PACKAGED, AND VERY BADLY BENT, MISHAPED AND IT MADE ME WANT TO RETURN IT, BUT I DIDN'T FELT COMFORTABLE IN THEIR SHIPPING AND PACKAGING METHODS, EVEN IF THE LADY REPRESENTATIVE AT THE STORE TOLD ME THEY HAD A FEW MORE OF THOSE SAME MASKS. SO A MASK THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A BEAUTIFUL ADDITION TO A COLLECTION IT BECAME A STRENUOUS PURCHASE ITEM THAT I HAD TO FIX AS BEST AS I COULD WHICH, RANKING IT FROM 1 TO 10, I RANK IT A 3 OUT OF 10, BUT I TURNED IT TO A 7 OUT OF 10 NO THANKS TO BARTZ PARTY DISPATCH LAME...

August 2025 Bartz's The Party Store has so many party decorations to choose from for your next party or event. We recently chose Bartz's to order balloon centerpieces and decorations for our 50th High School Class Reunion. We were so pleased ten years ago with the great job they did for our 40th High School Class Reunion. Maryanne and her crew were very accommodating, creative, and great to work with.
