I made an appointment online to replace my battery in my phone. I got two confirmation texts and an email confirming this appointment. I showed up at 9:15 for my 9:30 appointment, and the doors were locked, and lights out. While I was waiting five other customers showed up. Three of these customers were checking back as they tried to come at 8:00 a.m. and no one was there. I called the Brookfield batteries Plus and that girl was very very helpful she called the person that was supposed to be at the store and she was also checking to see if they had the battery that I needed. She was calling the West Allis store when she got a hold of the boy that was supposed to be in the Menomonee falls store and said he would be there in 15 minutes. So I waited. He showed up around 10:00 - that was fine I just wanted my new battery. I understand with the pandemic help is short and the hours are long and it's wearing on everyone. We're all went wrong was the fact that he told me they did not have the battery that I needed even though it was confirmed. I asked how the appointment could be confirmed for that battery if they did not have it in stock. He basically told me he sold it out from under me last night and that someone was supposed to call me. While he was telling me all this he basically spoken a tone as if I was the idiot for being upset about this. I was mad that I could have been on my way to West Allis and probably had the battery replaced by the time that he decided to show up for his scheduled shift. It took me suggesting that he needs to call West Allis to see if they have that battery and have them hold it for me while I drive yet another half hour south. As soon as he confirmed that they had the battery I was out of there. Very very good customer service and helpfulness at the West Allis store! I have a call into the manager to determine just how online appointments are confirmed and to determine if they do check that they have the battery before someone wastes their time going to...
Read moreWe dropped my sons phone off to replace the front screen. During pickup they only showed us the front screen and they were cautious not to show us the back. After getting back in the car, we realized the back glass was severely damaged which we were pretty sure was not the case initially. We went back in and questioned them and they claimed it was like that before. What was also strange was while we were checking out with the gentlemen who initially helped us, the manager came and yelled at him to go work on a tablet in back while he was with a customer/us and I thought that was quite rude. The manager then proceeded to leave slamming the door which is very unprofessional. Because of this I was hesitant to have any confrontation with them as he was super cranky looking when we came back in. Additionally we never received any call about the status of the phone or asking us if we wanted to proceed since the back was also shattered, nor did we ever revive a copy of the paperwork. This was on Wednesday July 3, the guy I spoke with was very nice and said they had to order the part and it should be in Friday at 10 or 10:30am and they would call me. Friday afternoon came, no call so I called and spoke with a different guy who said everything was pushed back because of the holiday and now it would not be in until Saturday or Monday! I said you’ll call me and gave my name again and he said yea. (By the tone of his voice I got the feeling he didn’t want to help me and was not going to call.
