We were visiting family in WI. They took us here for an unusual experience. I can saw we defiantly had a blast and end it at that... but there is so much more you need to know. We choose the haunted room escape. I like a bit of scare in my day. Once we were in the room we given some story line and left to our own devices. You can bring your drink in the room, and I highly recomend you do, so later you can blame the beer for your lameness at figuring out the clues. We are older, its been some time since we got out of school, so I can add that. OK, looking for the excuses LOL once we got the hang of it, it got exciting as we ran about finding clues, trying to open locks and laughing at how dumb we really are. There is a TV screen and when the bell tolls, look at it, its a clue. You have an hour to get out, and trust me, this will be the most fun you can have in an hour with a group of friends. We made it out with 2 minutes and 7 seconds to spare. What a blast. This is a must do. And yes, get some beers in you first, then you can have a built in excuse when you say the dumbest stuff while trying to solve a puzzle. "hey, i had too many beers.."

We went to Falls Axe and Escape this past weekend for a double date and were blown away. Half of our group had never done axe throwing or an escape room (myself included), but the team was super friendly and helpful. They went over how to throw the axe accurately, helped us set up the computer system, and even checked in periodically during our throwing to help us troubleshoot our throws. We made friends with the people in the lane next to us and the entire environment was so positive and the energy was infectious! The escape room was awesome. The guides were super friendly and helpful, didn't act at all like this is "old hat" to them. We had so much fun in the escape room and loved every bit of the challenge! We spent some time afterward chatting with the owner who is the most professional, friendly person. It truly felt like we were at a bar with old friends. Would love if they opened a franchise in Madison! ::wink::

We tried Team Escape 262 and loved the total experience of escape room and axe throwing. We unsuccessfully tried to complete The Haunting of Crowe Manor, but it was a very well put together escape room with lots of nuances. We definitely will be back to try another of their escape rooms. Our room had a 35% escape rate and was harder than the ship wrecked room. Will was a great game master and explained all the back story of the scenario we were playing. They also had a third escape room. Definitely good for either small or large groups. We also did axe throwing and they had 3 lanes and Liam explained all the rules and helped us figure out how to throw. The escape room and axe throwing combo is definitely worth it. Drinks also available for axe throwing.

Had a party reservation for 30 people and paid the owner at time of booking. Upon arrival staff did not greet us. Owner was extremely rude and yelled that he cancelled the reservation for no payment. When owner found out it was his error he provided drink chips for the mistake.

Def do NOT make a reservation. They hosted a free axe throwing at the same time as we were there, but still charged us since we had a reservation (again, despite the owner telling us he cancelled it himself). As a large group we had purchased plenty of pizzas and drinks that our throwing should have been free. Especially since there were no stipulations for the free axe throwing event that took place while we were there!

It’s unfortunate since the axe throwing itself was fun and the staff were attentive by asking if we needed more drinks and helpful with the axe throwing and computer system. The owner was rude enough I would recommend going elsewhere!

*in reply to the business’s super professional response:

To start multiple members of our party did reach out to the owner, without him wanting to hear it.

I never said you should go out of business, but I simply wouldn’t make a reservation and pay for axe throwing especially during a free event. Your event on Facebook did not have a time limit. I would not expect food and drinks for free, nor did I say that in my initial review as we were happy to pay for that.

For the duration of hours we were there, there was 1 other small party there and did not realize people are welcome for 75 mins at a time. Had we been notified we’d have happily left and gone to a bar down the road. Sorry for the extra business in the...
