I watched the man running the counter (not sure if it was the owner) physically throw boxes of still in the packaging cards on the ground with such force I flinched. Multiple times. I went in to get supplies as I'm starting my Magic: The Gathering journey and on top of his awful treatment of the items which they sell (which could contain items of value if you know anything about these games) it felt like he could not care less about the customer. It was the second time visiting this store and I'm so put off by the rudeness that I'd rather pay a few extra dollars elsewhere than put up with such lackluster customer service. Theres a strong board game community of wonderful players. They have a good selection of dnd stuff right at the start.
The community is what I really came for. Shop owner is named Dirt and is a cool guy.
That was the end of my initial impression. But now that I’m traveling through Columbus, I can say, definitely, that this is the best shop in Cleveland that doesn’t get you drunk.
At least the owner didn’t close his shop because of jury duty and never update the hours.
