G-licious pizza — Restaurant in Mentor

My family ordered pizzas for a party a couple hours beforehand... we got there and it turns out they forgot about the order... and instead of comping the order or expediting it, the only thing they could offer was us waiting an additional 20 minutes and we had to come back later. This was all as we had our guests at our house already, so we HAD to be back and couldn't wait around. We asked if they could deliver it and they said it would take even longer to get it to our house because they were backed up on deliveries, however, wouldn't you think that if you already messed up and threw off a whole party of people, you would make their order a priority? Nooooope.... I don't know, I just was not impressed with the service and being given the run around because of an oversight on their part....

We have our go-to pizza place that we usually order from. However, we love to try different pizza shops to spread our money around to locally owned spots like this. We just ordered G-licious for the very first time tonight. Pizza and wings were fabulous. Pizza sauce was great, toppings fresh and crust good. My only suggestion is to cook that pizza a tad longer as there were some doughy spots. Maybe staff took it out a little early? NBD as that will not hinder my review. This was a 5 star pizza hands down. Now the wings.. Huge wings! Tasty Ginormous wings! We went with their Stingy Honey Garlic sauce which was out of this world. I have ordered here 4 times now and each time it’s the same excuse and run around. The food is good, which is why I keep ordering but the delivery time is never the correct time they give you. They will tell you 45 minutes to an hour no matter what time you call. Each time I have placed an order I have had to call and find out where my food is. It’s always 30 minutes passed the hour time they quote. Each time they say sorry we were busy, the driver is leaving now, your food will be fresh when it arrives to you. Today I called right when they opened and same issue I ordered at 11:10am and it’s 12:30 and our food still isn’t here.
