Applegate Park — Attraction in Merced

This Park is merced's biggest park. It's a nice place and it has a lot of nice things like a kid play area and a zoo tennis court basketball court Kiwanis rides and a miniature train ride. An Amphitheater a skatepark hey gazebo and a few places for parties with an overhead from the tables. This is a really beautiful Park. The only problem with this park is the restrooms. They are absolute horrible. The city should be ashamed to present such a disastrous bathroom to people to come to see a beautiful Park. I would not even want to use these bathrooms it's so horrible. Love the location and the grassy areas and ofc kiddeland, but the play ground itself is absolutely chaotic and completely destroyed. It's run down, there is writing/graffiti all over the play equipment and holes in the ground where the kids run and play. Both my kids have suffered injury due to holes that are not covered or patched, on top of the issue of the entire ground being uneven and worn down. Highly recommend we are new to merced and just moved here we love this town so much already . The park big has a basketball court,skatepark ,swings 2 junglegyms.
