You get what you pay for. The Platinum price isn’t too bad considering what you get out of it. And myself and two boys under 10 had a good time overall for 4 hours being first time visitors to Urban Air.
But we won’t be going back unless there are major changes.
They should charge at least $10-$20 more per package ticket, because the price for all day access to their core attractions is under priced. The extra money should go to more staff, better training and most importantly equipment maintenance.
First to get it out of the way, DO NOT do the Arcade or Bowling. Both are not part of any of the packages and are separately priced. The Arcade games are ridiculously overpriced. $20 for 100 point Arcade card and games are on average 10 points for one swipe, $20 will last about 10 minutes for your kids. Bowling seems like a good price for $18 an hour (no shoes required) but Bowling at Urban Air is very low quality, and the games don’t even work properly (can’t detect gutter balls or doesn’t reset the pins correctly at all). Me and my two boys quit after about 15 minutes because of all the glitches and the staff didn’t really know how to help. Bowling = Pointless.
You SHOULD NOT go here to play the Arcade or Bowling. Urban Air corporate management should abandon the Bowling and Arcade and concentrate on the other attractions, which deserve MUCH MORE attention.
Laser Tag, VR, bumper cars, go-carts all have the potential to be great…however, the majority of the equipment is broken for each one. Clearly no attention or money has been put in for replacement and maintenance. If they concentrate on maintaining the equipment, this would create returning customers.
The many trampoline park stations, dodge ball, rock climbing, warrior course, zip lining, were in good shape and fun and where the time will be spent for your kids.
I don’t see this company or this location lasting much longer. They need to follow the “less is more” mantra and focus on the real value proposition… Large variety of indoor thrill attractions for a fair...
Read moreMy daughter had a birthday party there today did not have a good experience from the time I walked through the door. The party was for 12 PM and I was told I could come 15 minutes early to set up. I checked in at the desk at 11:38 AM and the girl told me it was five minutes too early. Meanwhile, the five minutes have passed. They are aware that I am waiting. Another party group shows up and they take them back. Didn’t make it to our table until almost 12:05 pm when my guests were already arriving. The trampoline park is nice but seems there’s some upgrades that need to be done. I was jumping on one of them myself and I weigh 130 pounds. It felt like it was going to cave in. Fast-forward to the party being over, I was putting my stuff back in the car. My kids were still playing, and I was trying to gather up my kids before I went and paid. I went to the back to pay and dealt with a girl named Mia, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. I had a party of 10 and two did not show up so I was supposed to get a card for two remaining wristbands that were not used she knew she was supposed to give them to me because my server told me that and she didn’t. The two extra wristbands were sitting on the clipboard when I returned to ask for my two free tickets and she was so rude and unprofessional didn’t even respond to me (only with a nasty look) when I asked her, “Hi, how are you” Mia, find a new job and urban air-Find some younger kids who are actually personable, nice, and want to work. This little girl...
Read moreI would love to give this place 5 stars HOWEVER, I spent $700 on my son’s birthday party here last night, he had a ball BUT as a parent this place is VERY unorganized. The staff are all young and angry, they continuously argued with one another in front of the children. They allow way too many Platinum Parties on one night it was so chaotic. Nobody knew what party was supposed to be where at what times. My children went to Laser Tag with my party host and we were kicked out by a very rude party host name Leondra. She argued with my party host even though my host asked her to calm down and tried coming up with solutions. It was very unprofessional, this was my first time here and I will not be booking another party here. They should tell us to arrive at least a half hour early to print every single waiver and go over the layout of the party. It was very time consuming to print waivers, gather children for each activity, take your shoes off, go get shoes on. Overall of course my children enjoyed themselves but as a parent it’s so much that needs to be worked on. I really wish I could teach them a thing or two on customer service and organization. Also to pay $15 for toddlers under 5, that were only able to jump on trampolines, to have my 2 year old daughter knocked down by a male employee who I’m sure was NOT suppose to be jumping. He DID NOT apologize and acted like nothing even happened. I don’t mind paying what I paid I just wish it was a lot...
