Thai Spice Authentic (Yum D Thai Cuisine) — Restaurant in Orange

We usually get food here couple of times a week and the food is delicious so this review is not about the food but it's about the response I got from the lady that answered the phone. There was hair on my chicken satay and I could not eat the food I was so disgusted I called hopefully they would make it right. I said hi I am so and so I ordered this n that and there was hair on my phone she said oh sorry sir. Not even an effort to make it right sorry doesn't make things right.. a refund or a remake of the order does. I get it it was an accident it happens is not the first or the last time that will happen with anyone cooking food on the restaurant but don't wait for me to ask you to make me another one or ask you for a refund. I'm sure if I ate the food there a new meal would of been made ready for me and no one would of found out but saying just sorry doesn't replace my meal. I'm sure if that happens to you , you would not eat the food and send it back. Well the lady answering the phone obviously doesn't have any customer service skills nor she cares about the place she works at. $35 right on the trash. I would never eat...

This was my first time ordering from here. Tiny little place that I've driven by hundreds of times yet somehow never went there until today.

I ordered the Pra Ram chicken dish and it was delicious. The crab rangoons were tasty but $6 for five small pieces is overpriced. The brown rice was, again, delicious. Not sure why there's a dollar extra charge for it but at least it's actually real brown rice unlike the nonsense of white rice with a brown sauce on it like some places have done. The veggie pancake was surprisingly good; I would order that again. And I think they put liquid crack in their peanut sauce because I couldn't stop telling my friends how much I liked it. I'm not sure what dish that came from but I need to figure it out!

The place was mostly full when we got there to pick up our order and was completely packed by the time we left. It may mean a wait but I take that as a good sign. The lot it is located in is also small and a little bit difficult to access, with tight parking.

3rd visit here and 1st take out experience. 1st visit to the restaurant we ate there. Great food. Great people. Good service. 2nd visit, we were there for over an hour and a half. Good food but super slow. We still loved the food so we decided to try take out tonight. Big mistake. Almost 1 hour for veggies and rice, garlic chicken and chicken satay. There were 5 of us waiting. One walked out in anger. Another, also angry, and I see from the reviews he also wasn't happy. I got my food at almost a 1 hour wait and went home. Upon opening, my mixed veggies with extra sauce was a mess. The lid was never snapped shut. Thank God it was in a bag as the bag was FILLED with liquid sauce. I wanted extra sauce but guess not.
