I signed up for a membership last January for my family and over the past couple months had a few very negative experiences. Each time we brought attention to management along side a couple other families each having similar issues. My 5 year old was intentionally injured by an older teenager that screamed profanities at him for ânot being on his own sideâ being the reason for injuring him, we witnessed an employee laugh about it and say he was asking for it.(5 years old vs a 15 year old.) We brought it to a managers attention and the response we were given was âwe canât find his parents but we told him he needs to calm down.â This was all they did. We tried to give it another chance on another visit thinking maybe this was an isolated event. This same teenager was back again causing problems and a different set of older teenagers/young adults hit my friends 7 year old son from an arms length away so hard he started gushing blood in the dodgeball court out of his nose. He then proceeded to drip blood all the way to the bathroom. We brought it up to the employee who witnessed the incident and he brushed it off and told us we could leave if we had a problem, then we proceeded to see him confront the teenagers involved and laugh and exchange quick hugs/handshakes with them making it clear they knew one another or just didnât care about the situation. We brought it up management and even about the staffed employee who witnessed the situation. 3 other families also came up to complain alongside us for their own children being terrorized by these unsupervised teenagers running around. Management said they talked to the boys and that was their resolution. There were also many safety precautions not being followed(equipment not being cleaned, trampolines not being hooked up fully/airbag not being connected to the sidewalls correctly. Many safety hazards and very understaffed and over capacity.) They said to email management because nothing more could be done from them. The manager we spoke to was actually very kind but clearly disappointed with what was going on himself. Each time we were spoken to we were essentially brushed aside and treated as if we were just expected to get over the situation. I emailed the email I was provided giving this information and much more and they had no resolution other than pay off our memberships and leave them be. My membership was also paused and extended without my permission and should have canceled back in January but only they are allowed to break their own contracts, not customers. So Iâm being charged for non-use of a membership at a business I have witnessed physical violence against my own children in and thereâs absolute refusal to compromise. There clearly have nothing against physical violence or profanities being strewn and screamed at small children. I wouldnât recommend anyone to go here anymore and have sadly seen it go downhill fast. There are a lot of much safer trampoline parks nearby in the area and I highly recommend everyone check them out. (Altitude, fly high, Defy, Jumptime.)
Update: I wish I could say some sort of resolution was achieved but it was not whatsoever and absolutely zero help to these issues were addressed. I was told bluntly I can pay them and not return. I emailed back and forth with their management/billing department about all of the issues and about canceling my membership because the facility was not following their own policies or safety precautions and it was made clear they refuse to cancel the membership until term is up and they claimed it was 3 months after my 12 month contract was up and that would be the last payment. I was charged yet again the following month even after they stated they had already put in the automatic cancellation in months prior. I was refunded only the 4th extra month only because I caught it in writing that they screwed up but they declined to go back to January when my initial 12 months were up. I would still never refer anyone with children to use this location and hope in the future they change a lot of...
Read moreI wasnât going to leave a review but the awkward events trying to order food here changed my mind. Equipment is plentiful and vast in variety, however the general feel of the atmosphere set by the crew is pretty jaded. It seems to be quite a few high school kids running the place and they may need a bit more training in customer service before they are set out on their own. Front desk girl was nice; good customer service. She asked us if we had jump socks and we replied we did. We were then asked if they were Urban Air specific jump socks and were told we had to buy their specific socks; I have never had to do at Fly High or Jumptime. I mean, it was $50 just to have an adult and child Deluxe pass but cool. Policy is policy. As a General Manager who has been in customer service for over 10 years, I understand that. Asked to tap pay, danced around to another register for something, then back to the original register where he already paid, my husband was prompted to pay again. When he stated to the girl that he had already tapped, the girl responded that it didnât look like it had gone through. My husband then tapped again and then we went off to jump. A little wary, my husband checked his account to find two charges. Unfortunately, a double charge was there. I took my daughter to go look around and my husband started his journey for a refund. After looking around the place, we went back to the front to find my husband still waiting for a refund. After being explained to that he was not double charged, we explained there were two charges to the account and we tapped twice; we had even brought it up at the time. The manager told us he was, âjust going to refund it,â and that he did. One out of the two charges were refunded before we even left. Now, for some fun!
We headed to the snack bar for lunch. No line! Amazing! We placed an order for a mozzarella stick, a slice of pizza and two drinks but not before I was interrupted by the counter girl who just HAD to ask Justice if, âhe was seriousâ before I got the second meal out. She handed me a buzzer proclaiming it would go off when the food was ready and ran to the back with my receipt. I waited for her to come back and pour us the drinks but she did not. Instead, a young gentleman came out and poured a drink for himself. I gave up and sat down. My family went to go check out the activities. There are actually quite a few really cool places. They have mini golf, laser tag along with in the air ropes courses and climbing walls. Itâs unfortunate that we wonât be coming back. They were gone for a good 15-20min while I waited in an almost empty dining room for a sign of our food or drinks. I didnât see a sign of anyoneâs food or drinks being handed out in that time frame except one gentlemanâs slushies. What I witnessed instead was pretty sad. Especially as it is a restaurant I run and know the seriousness of food safety.
The delay was inevitably due to too many kids goofing around in the snack shack. When one of them popped in to join the party, they asked if âso and soâ was in there. A member replied, âEveryoneâs in here.â So if you have trouble finding any help on the floor, I would suggest checking the kitchen. There are probably a bunch of idle workers there. Among the loud goofing around and âprivateâ conversations, a worker came out exclaiming how the butter fell on the floor so he was unsure if the other workers wanted to use it. He complained how he stepped in it in his open-toes shoes. Thatâs a health code violation. Someone please get him some nonslip tennis shoes! My family returned to an empty table at 25min wait. Thatâs when I went to ask for a manager. I believe it was a shift lead I spoke to and he was very kind and receptive. When I got back to my family, they still didnât have food so I broke up the staff party and asked if the food was going to be ready soon as it had been 30min and they were dead. Three minutes later, our food was delivered with attitude.
Lack of business on a Saturday is likely direct result of this apathy. How...
Read moreThere's so MANY small, simple, basic (if the Owner or Manager cared AT ALL about this location, these items would've been fixed LONG AGO, thus the place wouldn't look like it's run by an entire staff of underage teens...) fixes, it's almost to many to list. One small example - In the Women's Restroom, there's a bedroom size space that's almost entirely empty EXCEPT FOR the numerous (minimum of 9, yes Nine!) EMPTY Toilet Paper & Paper Towel BOXES just sitting there, not broken down, just tossed there carelessly. NEITHER of the paper towel dispensers even worked, they'd CLEARLY been without working batteries for A WHILE, likely months. Yet ANOTHER simple, basic, easy to handle, if the Owner or Manager even cared, vital & NOT time consuming FIX, avoided. THE WORST, MOST REPULSIVE, HORRENDOUS, DISGUSTING, UNBELIEVABLE part of the women's restroom... They OBVIOUSLY had NOT been CLEANED, at all, WHATSOEVER in far too many, many MONTHS... Beyond words how gross it was to take my children in there to use the bathroomđ¤˘. You would figure, @least common sense would logically explain: THAT the Price For Entry + the Employ of mostly Underage staff, or Just turned 18 year old staffers who are typically the Shift Leads, the LACK THEREOF access to the Most Popular Attractions (VIRTUAL REALITY, LAZER TAG, most others were Only Available IF staff was there to run it, like the Wall Climbing, the Sky Rider & the Ropes Course, to name just a few of the scarcely available attractions - which were LITERALLY THE REASONS folks spent the ridiculous amount of money they did to go to Urban Air, straight FACTS) that the "Adventure Park" would QUITE EASILY be able to AFFORD the basic, low cost to handle regular upkeep... But apparently NOT...
I understand that there's MANY reasons, MANY possibilities as to WHY so many things can be Neglected for SO LONG... But i also understand that Children should NOT be in charge of running an ENTIRE business, alone. I also understand that even if the Owner came in ONE DAY a week for a total of 3-4 HOURS, that place would LOOK, SMELL, FUNCTION SPECTACULARLY. . . that is: if the Owner TRULY cared for the success of his business, for the healthy success of his employees &, most importantly, for the HAPPINESS OF HIS CUSTOMERS -which is literally what the entire business model is based upon.
Alrighty, I've babbled on long enough. There were a couple of the employees who were very kind, respectful, pretty knowledgeable, but NOT as knowledgeable as the law requires, & a few who seemed to actually have had proper training to run their respective attractions safely - for the most part. Granted there were access to many trampolines and a WANNABE American Ninja Warrior course IF (& this is a GINORMOUS "if") the entire thing wasn't missing almost 65% of it -AGAIN, from lack thereof basic, simple Maintenance, Upkeep & plain ol' Giving a Sh*t about the business you started.
I hope this helps some folks. Maybe call ahead & ask if they've cleaned their facilities recently? Maybe ask if they've done ANY Maintenance at all in the recent weeks, months? Perhaps inquire if they're well staffed on the day you want to attend?
Either way, i sincerely hope all of those basic, normal Maintenance type things have been done, that they're well staffed with properly trained employees & that you'll have a wonderful time there, if you choose to go. Stay safe out there & BE KIND, cuz as*holes SUCK... That's a bit oxymoronic but you get what I'm...
